Was visiting from out of state and a family member suggested the short drive to Crickets. Great food that is not your typical bar food. We had a crowd of about 15 people and had cocktails and appetizers. We had a great time. The food was delicious and the beer was cold. The owner and his wife were very patient, friendly, and accommodating to our noisy crowd. We can’t wait to go back. I hope the locals put them on the map and support this local treasure.

This is a family oriented bar and grill frequented by locals and travelers. There are fun times had by all customers, young and old. We serve a variety of adult beverages and some of the best food in the area. The 3rd Saturday of the month we offer mountain oysters or fish specials. The last Saturday of the month draws in karaoke lovers beginning at 9pm. We are famous for our Taco Tuesdays beginning at 5pm.

Can you say taco Tuesday? The best, fastest, taco Tuesday ever. Place is always packed but you never really have to wait too long. By the second if not third time that you go they know what your drinks are beer water soda tea or alcohol. Very reasonably priced. They also have pie and ice cream who could go wrong?

The food was wonderful, just as we had been told, except for the “bacon pieces” on the loaded fries were more like the tiny crumbs that would be left in the skillet after frying bacon. The prices were very reasonable. The waitress acted like we were a complete and total nuisance. She never once spoke friendly or smiled, but would go back to the bar and laugh and seem happy with the two older gentleman at the bar. When we would try to be friendly and speak, she did not deviate from the business at hand and was not up for any type of conversation. There were only three of us, but we did come in at 3 pm. We will give it another try as we do live in the area.
