The Lychee Tea was good, good amount of fruit given. The Fruit Delight was good, except he left out the Ruby Pearl’s, had to ask for it to be put in since it’s supposed to come with it, the guy who made i said most people dont want it. Ordered the Fried Tofu, but it was never made, had to wait for it. Overall, it was good, if it was closer, I’d come more often.

I’ve been ordering from Crispy Banh Mi since summer started and I’ve tried to let it go but today is my last straw with the girl that works up front at the location in Ayrsley Town. She never greets you as you come in the door and she doesn’t seem to want to answer to any questions, ever. One time she actually hung up the phone without saying anything! I’m a manager at a buffet, I understand how customers can be but I’m just letting y’all know you’ll lose your money by allowing a child who don’t know customer service work there. Only 2 stars cause the food. But SERVICE IS TERRIBLE

I was so looking forward to getting food from here. I am on a super stringent diet where I get only one meal off plan per week and drove 20 minutes to try this place out. I ordered the summer and grilled pork rolls to share with my husband in addition to the grilled pork bahn mi. Imagine the disappointment when neither of the rolls had cilantro or mint and the shrimp rolls didn’t have pork or peanut sauce. How would you feel if you drove 20 minutes to pick the one meal off plan you had been looking forward to, only to get two things that weren’t as described?

Overall it was ok, went with a friend and we both got a noodle bowl (I got the special with the alternative protein + tofu + shrimp and my friend got the chicken bowl with shrimp). The tofu was fried and made well and I really liked the alternative meat (wheat flower protein/seitan), it had a great sweet flavor to it! The chicken was very dry and stiff and the shrimp was fine. I’m a big fan of boba tea and have tried several different milk teas at different locations in Charlotte and this one was by far my least favorite. I got the honey dew milk tea and my first sip was straight powder of the tea flavoring( or milk powder?) that still hadn’t dissolved and was still hot even though there was ice in the drink. The flavor was very artificial tasting and off. I was looking forward to this place due to the good reviews, so I was disappointed with the lack luster experience. If I ever have the chance to go back, I might try the banh mi sandwiches instead and try a green tea boba in case those are better!

The food is pretty fantastic. The veggies are always fresh and go super well on the banh mi. I highly suggest making an order ahead, as their service tends to be extremely slow. On more than one occasion I’ve waited upwards of 30 minutes for a pork banh mi.
