With cronies I am always torn, because much like alot of you, i have been coming to cronies for years, roughly 15 years. So of course I want to say good things about the restaurant, but truth is it is very inconsistent. It really depends on who is working. My wife and I have not had the best experiences as of late. Recently it took 10 minutes after we sat, for anyone to approach us, and it was not busy at all. And this has happened before. The food, again depends who is preparing it. Just a month ago we went for breakfast, I ordered a basic eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns, and it was delicious! The bacon was thick cut and so tasty, the eggs nice and fluffy. But since that, the breakfast has been subpar to say the least. The eggs very greasy, the bacon very thin and aslo greasy. So all in all, if you’re with your buddies and just want a beer, 100% cronies is it. However, if you’re looking for a delicious meal and proper service, I can not in good conscious recommend this restaurant. With that being said I will still eat here and if the food and service improves, so will my review.

The food was a step below mediocre. Cold fries, bland BLT and a basic no frills burger. The wings however, have a perfectly crispy skin, definitely worth ordering. The Bloody Mary is surprisingly amazing with a thick piece of candy bacon. The service is great and it’s a good setting to watch a game, but other than the wings and Bloody Mary, the food was not great.

This is a nice, casual place with a nice sized patio. They have a large menu and quite a few beers on tap. The service was good. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. I could have used more cheese and bell peppers but it was good. My husband had the Little Daddy and enjoyed it. He also ordered the garlic fries. They had good flavor but were undercooked so got a little mushy. We would go back.

The young worker who was originally taking my order, was taken by a rude worker ( shannet or something ) who was both short, rude, and not helpful with my order in any capacity. I saw other instances of her being rude to other customers as well.

This is a great place to watch the big game, down some cold brew, and snack on some tasty appetizers. Good vibes from fellow sports patrons and the awesome service keeps the good times rolling. It does get a bit crowded as the place is a bit small compared to the one in VTA, that’s why it doesn’t get a full 5 stars.
