This is without a doubt one of my favorite BBQ places. I have never walked in without getting a warm greeting. They have chopped BBQ, chicken, ribs, fried catfish and chicken tenders. I like that they have potato salad as a side, and I love their stew! The desserts are homemade, including the banana pudding. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s family friendly dining and good food. So I think, worth the drive.

My wife and I were traveling on I-20 and took a chance on this place. It was well worth it! All the food was great, and their stew was top notch! We met the owner, Pops and he showed us around the small place – including his new kitchen. (by the way, they had a 100 on their current inspection report). This restaurant has been in business for 29 years.

OMG Good,Very Friendly! Me and my wife stopped in on our road trip. Not knowing they only except cash,we luckily had $20 in cash. They lady and her daughter, were very nice. I have to say,it was the best $20 I spent the hole trip. And the lady gave us way more food than i had money for. A true jewel on the road.

This place is absolutely amazing! My dad and I stopped here on our way from Nashville to my grandparent’s home in Wrens,Ga. We both got their pulled pork BBQ sandwich and was not disappointed. This is the way food was meant to be made, with love and care. If you find yourself anywhere near this place on the days it is open, you have to stop by.

My wife is a country girl, I am a city boy. While visiting her relatives we got bbq and fixins from there. Its like going to a family members. Hung out and waited for our order in a recliner. Country folks, and country life…..I could handle that. If you get a chance try them..its good

I have eaten a lot of BBQ over the years at restaurants in big cities, small towns, and in the middle of no where. Without a doubt this is the best BBQ I have ever had. Pork, chicken, stew, desserts, etc. all wonderful. Service is excellent and everyone very friendly. A must visit for any lover of good BBQ.
