Crowley’s Corner Store
We stopped on our way through because of the glowing reviews. They did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service sweet. The building and chairs are pretty run down, the only negative. We got fish sandwiches and they were cooked perfectly melty and flaky, the breading delicious! Huge portions!! The fries are devine. The salad bar was an excellent add on!

I have heard this place was great , so I was craving a hamburger horse shoe and thought I would give this place a try and it was a huge disappointment. Their fresh never frozen patties were horrible , I was asked if I minded making my own salad from the salad bar than was informed after not everything on the salad bar came with the salad when walking in a noticed some things wrong that should of threw redflags but I never judge a restaurant by appearance but I’m not even sure how this place still has their doors open. Open electrical boxs on the wall at a level a toddler could easily get to. The ceiling had open electrical boxes, and ceiling tiles were falling. I could go on and on about violations. Where is the health department? This place needs fined and closed till atleast the electrical is fixed!

Kitchen is nasty. Very unhealthy and sanitary. Walk in fridge. All the food is in bins and not covered up at all and some are sitting on the floor. Look like it would be a good episode of chef Ramsey nightmare show. Never would eat here. Owner does not care. And doesn’t pay there worker right. Takes all the money for themselves.

This place was great, stopped after getting gas and noticed a full parking lot (thinking it’s a good sign). The service was super, very observant and friendly. The food was both good and portions large. I absolutely will return if in the area. I had the pork special with a baked potato and lots of gravy. I also opted for the chicken dumpling soup which was excellent. Oh, the slice of cake I had was huge as well

Lots of food that tastes good too. The house Special Omelette was huge and packed with vegetables and cheese. The hash browns were well done (the way I like them). And the pancake was the size of the whole plate.

He searched all over on a Sunday morning for a place to have breakfast. I’m so glad we found this place. My husband is super picky when it comes to the restaurants and he loved every bite of his country fried steak!! I have a feeling we will definitely be repeat customers.

AMAZING 10/10. fresh hot food given out very quickly after ordered. i ordered a burger with fries and they gave me a plate with a fresh hot burger and the top bun on the side as well with the toppings on the side, so i was able to build it myself. the fries were so good hot and fresh and the sweet tea had to be the most perfectly sweetened tea ive ever tasted. too bad i dont live that close otherwise id be going there everyday. server was super nice i just loved it. very worth the money and drive!!

I really hate writing this review. The food here is good, the service is just plain rude. My server, melissa, treated me as if I had beaten her dog the entire time I was there. Not even a goodbye or have a nice day or anything at all after check out. Also at checkout I was surprised by the fact that they only take cash or check. I don’t carry cash, I haven’t done so in years, and I know many of you don’t carry cash these days either. They do have an ATM on the property if you care to pay the ATM fee along with your meal. I had been here before about 6 months ago and I don’t remember this from that time, and something like this would have stuck in my mind. When I asked her about it she, in her usual rude manner, told me she had been here 13 years and it had always been that way.
