Upon entry, the restaurant staff, who were actively cleaning the windows, warmly welcomed us. They immediately inquired if it was our first visit and transparently addressed minor discrepancies between the paper menus and the signs, noting that updated versions were forthcoming.

Did you change your chicken recipe??? I visited this establishment on 4/22/23 and ordered the five wing combo to go. When I got home and opened my box I looked at my food I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with my order. The chicken was dry fried too hard looked dark and lacked seasoning and cooked in old grease on top of that I didn’t even have five whole wings! They threw in about five little pieces of wings to try to make up for what was not there! I called back to complain about my order and the young lady that had taken my order at the counter was very rude telling me the customer nothing was wrong with my order and the manager is the one who fixed it and started to tell me the refund policy and I said ok what are you going to do to fix my order then the manager gets on the phone and I expressed my concerns to her about my order she apologized and asked me to come back and have it remade. I told her that live about 30 minutes away and could come the next day. So I went back today on 4/23/23 and when I walked in the same young lady was there from the day before who never greeted or said hello to me she just turned around and asked the staff in the kitchen to remake the order from the ticket that was given. She was very rude and did not apologize or give good customer service. When I got my food I asked about the drink that came with the combo she tells me that can’t be given because I only had a problem with the food! Excuse me! It’s a freaking combo and I was told I would get the entire meal replaced! The order to today looked better but tasted the same it was fried too hard and lacked seasoning again! I asked the manager this yesterday and she said the recipe was the same but do have new staff in training. Well today was another disappointing experience and I will not be going back especially after how I was treated by the staff! The chicken was nasty the fries were cooked to hard and this has just left a bad taste in my mouth! It seems not only do the staff need training in food preparation but customer service as well! And from what I have read from previous reviews I’m not the only one who feels like the chicken taste different! If you cannot provide quality food and good customer service you need to reduce your prices or maybe should not have reopened this location! I used to tell people how good the food is here that will not be happening again! I will be taking my business elsewhere! This location lacks quality quantity and good customer service!!! Will not be recommending this location to anyone!

I come here randomly, but for the first time today.. I can say I was very disappointed and treated poorly.. The heavyset lady with the braids and the manager on shift were VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. What ever happened to the nice older lady and the younger guy, they are always so pleasant and exceeds customer service standards. On today, upon walking in, I wasn’t greeted which wasn’t so much of a problem, but i pick up on energy, she instantly gave off bad energy, so of course I wasn’t very welcoming to her. Not tone time did i disrespect or was I rude to her, but however, I watched this cashier body language, facial expressions, towards me, when my order was ready, i walked to the counter , i asked for condiments because i didn’t see them at the bottom of the bag. she rudely said they’re in the bag and rolled her eyes and made this rude face. i asked for the manager, knowing I didn’t want to talk to the lady but the owner because upon relocating back to this area, . My first time dining here me and him had an conversation. The manger of course was on her side and lied sand said she greeted me, which I can hear perfectly clear, if she did.. she said it real low. because the two of them were at the counter engaged in conversation when I walked in… I was upset at this point, The manger laughed in my face because I stated that the new employees lately have been terrible. meaning the ones, I’m not used to seeing outside of the older lady I’m used to being taken care of when i would normally go. The food is always good but today was unacceptable and needs to be dealt with.. I normally get my food to dine in, I couldn’t even enjoy my food nor did I care to sit in this evening.

I gave a 4 because she didn’t listen. I ask could I get another side besides what coming with the order. She said yes. I told her to keep the order like it is but give me a side order. When I get my order the other part was not there. But thanks to a lady that was there bought the order that supposed to come with the order but nevertheless I enjoy the food when I got it. You will definitely enjoy the food.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Innette at the Ramsey Street location. It was our first time there. She was amazing! She was very patient, polite, thoughtful and helpful. The food was delicious as well! We will definitely be revisiting very soon.

Had the Philly Cheese steak…pretty good. The Red Beans and Rice was more like rice and a few beans and not very good. Got it to go, but the dining room seemed pretty clean.

Ordered for the first time since they’ve been back open on Ramsey st. So disappointed normally food amazing this day my food was horrible chicken was burned or shall I say way cooked in burned oil it was horrible. I know it was late night but they should not let food come out of the restaurant like that. Scared to order from them again.

I’ve been here before and the chicken (fried) was done & seasoned very well. The fries were equally as good but this time I wasn’t pleased with the food. The mambo wings (my first time trying them) weren’t cooked thoroughly u literally could smell that raw chicken smell on the bone & see the blood (I thought it was sauce but the smell cleared that discrepancy up) . I called the establishment back and they said bring it back & they’ll fix it but due to me being at work that wasn’t possible.

My first time eating at Crown Fried chicken I had the 3 piece chicken tender combo fries were decent but the tenders were super small and way to hard and the price was ridiculous the chicken livers have to be their specialty.
