Crust 54 is hands down the best deep dish pizza I have ever had anywhere, including Chicago! The carnivore pizza is my favorite, but there are a lot of other great pizza combinations as well. In addition to pizza, the Tim wheels (basically pizza dough wrapped around cheese, pizza sauce, and pepperoni) are a great side dish or appetizer. I have never had a bad experience eating here and have always had great service. The Klaus family takes great pride in what they do and it really shows. I love how they are also farmers!

I dropped by the downtown location of Crust 54 for lunch with a buddy of mine. We split a medium Chicago Special deep dish pizza and had some drinks. Service was friendly and attentive, and the new space seemed nice. It took about 30 to 40 minutes to cook, but it was delicious when it arrived. It was fresh from the oven with lots of melted cheese and fresh ingredients. The crust was firm, somewhere between a normal pie crust and a cracker, and it was able to stand up to the fillings while having a savory flavor. I’ll definitely be back for more someday.

We came here for lunch and the staff was amazing! The pizza was also great for deep dish if that’s the kind of pizza that you like. Options to dine in and get pizza to go. In the heart of downtown, so there’s lots to do in the area to work up an appetite.

We love our local pizza place. Whether we are there for a quick bite for lunch or a family dinner my five kids, the wife, and I love this place. It’s often busy, for good reason, so we try to time it right (early lunch or dinner for example) and if ordering out, we make sure we order ahead of time especially if ordering a deep dish.

Crust 54 is good pizza! We had a cesar salad, side winders (potato wedges cut much thinner), a deep dish carnivore (meat lovers) pizza & a garden vegetable pizza. My goal in eating out was to have leftovers and that was achieved. Two-thirds of both pizzas were taken home. The cesar salad was excellent! Fresh lettuce, a good portion of dressing, chicken & croutons. We got the hall order of side winders and all though good there were too many. I highly recommend getting the full order. The carnivore deep dish pizza was great! I love their sausage and there was plenty of it, along with pepperoni and ham. I didn’t notice much bacon and that was fine. Their sauce is good as well. Excellent pizza overall! I didn’t eat any of the garden vegetable pizza but was told it was good.
