I opened it in 2001 and My name is Kristy Socarrás Bigelow, a Cuban-American, born in Miami. The Glendale Sandwicheria has an exceptional mojito happy hour with a big open bar and overhead doors to a large patio. An outdoor dining area that is the perfect setting (outside of a beachside view of course) to enjoy sangria, caipirinhas and our rums. We are known for our cuban sandwich & plantains as well as our award winning tres leches. We specialize in all the Cuban delicacies such as croquetas, pastelitos, vaca frita and ropa vieja. First time eating here. It looks like a great establishment. Staff were friendly, great choices, clean, and delicious food. In my opinion, I wouldn’t really say it’s super good but it’s decent for the price and what you get. Since I wasn’t hungry, I got a chicken kids plate and it was great. Service and food were amazing! Right off the bat staff welcomed us and were checking in with us frequently throughout the meal. Even when a rush came service was great. Food was spectacular! The Cuban sandwich and the fries were on point. You also can’t go wrong with the cafe con leche which taste amazing if you are into sweet coffee. Hope to be back soon and you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty okay Cuban spot. Food came out fast and service was good. Had a mojito which was average but also tasted like a mojito just could have used a little more sugar. Overall a nice spot to get somewhat of a Cuban experience. Definitely better than I expected for Denver. Had the palomilla steak and the vaca frita as entrees. The steak was seasoned so well! Could taste the naranja agria on it. Picadillo and ropa vieja empanadas. The ropa vieja empanada was amazing! Make sure to ask for a sauce to dip it in. Overall would try again.

The food was very good. The pork had a lot of garlic in it. The only thing I didn’t like was the yuca fries, but my mom liked them. The sauce they were in was good though. The flan was a little firmer then I was used to,, but it still had a good tast. Their prices are about average. The only place where they loosed points is that it was hard to get water refills and even though we told them they were out of toilet paper when we first got there, it still hadn’t been replenished by the time we got ready to leave.

The food was good, the service sucked. No utensils, no napkins, dirty glasses. The white couple right across from us got utensils, asked if they were ok, if they needed anything. We did not get the same treatment. Makes me wonder Cuba Cuba???
