This place is a family run restaurant. So the environment is very humble and the interior is very homely. Our meal was mainly prepared by Cuca and once we received the meals we felt like we were eating at a grandma’s home. Food was good. We enjoy coming to places like this. Not very many restaurants like this exist nowadays. I got the Steak (Bistec) with Huevos and my wife got the giant gordita.

I pass this spot all the time and today just before 11am I walked in and ordered a breakfast burrito. The place looks like grandma’s house; with booths to sit and eat in a calm environment. An older couple was bustling around the kitchen working, the younger woman took my order and immediately peeled a potato, cracked an egg, got the bacon ready and assembled my order right in front of me in about 5 minutes. This burrito was excellent and the large cup of DELICIOUS red salsa was a pleasant treat as I have yet to find a great homemade salsa at a restaurant. The quality of the breakfast burrito will absolutely have me back at Cuca’s restaurant trying everything else on the menu as it is obviously made with love!

A Pico classic!!! Feels like eating at your tias house. Funny to see the very few sour people who should stick to eating at their gentrified Mexican food places. Places like Cuca’s are few and far in between in the area it’s an unique place for locals and for people who really want to experience a home cooked meal….thank you Cuca always great food!

Wow! I haven’t eaten like this in decades. The food is exceptional, freshness like this is difficult to come by. Everything seems to be hand made and well-seasoned without being over the top. This place is reminiscent of my grandmother’s kitchen where she would prepare simple Mexican dishes that always satisfied and left us wanting more even though we couldn’t possibly eat another bite.
