Our family began making pizza in Rochester, NY in 1932. Veltre Bakery was a neighborhood staple known for its hand crafted pizzas and baked goods.
Today Cucinella’s continues that family tradition in Eastern NC by using original recipes and techniques that have been perfected over decades. We believe you’ll taste the difference.

They have fresh pizza that they make in front of you by the slice or whole pie and HUGE gelato and frozen ice! The prices are affordable, there’s indoor/outdoor seating, and they play indie/country/oldies music. I’m just visiting NC but I’ve already come here three times in 2 weeks because it’s so yummy and family friendly!

Being from NYC, I have a hard time accepting the pizza down here. This place though, closest thing I’ve found! Prices are great. First time here tonight, called in an order close to closing time as I just saw it in passing. They still made a fresh pie and were nice despite literally prepping for closing. The hostess/cashier was prompt and friendly both on the phone and in person and the gentlemen in the back were professional and made a delicious pizza. Thanks to the staff on shift tonight!

Moved to Greenville last year from NY. We were craving some really good pizza but did not have any luck. Cucinella’s came up in conversation and we decided to try it… By far the BEST ACTUAL NY STYLE PIZZA!!! I would put this up against the best NY has to offer. This will be our go to from now on.

Good pizza but went to the “curbside” pickup lane since I had my baby with me. Got nothing but confused looks from the workers inside. Finally decided to go in to pickup (with a baby on my hip) and had no one even offer to help me get the two large pizzas out to the car. Really put off and not sure I’ll return. Don’t have curbside pickup as part of your description if it’s not offered.

Tried the downtown location today for lunch and it was fantastic! Small Italian sub with chips for under $10! Sub was packed and the bread was absolutely delicious. Great sister store to the Winterville location!!
