Busy area, a bit rundown, parking can be a challenge, dinner area is narrow & noisy. That notwithstanding the food is very good. If you’re hungry, enjoy Asian food, and happen to be in the area your tastebuds will thank you.

Fantastic experience on all levels – this was my best dining experience in several years. The food was ultra flavorful and the meat (lamb, chicken, and salmon) were all perfectly tender. The staff was courteous and generous. As far as pricing goes, we felt like we time-warped back 5 years. $15 bottle of wine at a restaurant seems unheard of, and food prices were also reasonable. We got a plate of momo and 3 main dishes for 4 people and this was a perfect amount of food. We will most certainly be coming back and we hope to see you there!

Solid spot way up in Bernal Heights with staple Nepalese dishes. The momos are good, and the combo plate with tadka and veg is super nice (love the metal plate). I only wish it included achaar and raita! Lacks a bit of what I loved about the food in Nepal, but pretty good for America. Overall a nice experience.

This place is the finest hole in the wall! My husband and I stumbled upon this place while on our evening walk and the smell of the restaurant lured us in. We couldn’t help ourselves but to read the story of the restaurant on the wall and where it began. We were lucky enough to be greeted by the owner! If you chat him up, he’ll even sit with you and have wine. A wonderful story and wonderful homely atmosphere. I don’t even know where to begin with the food. It was all so good. We tried almost everything and gladly took leftovers home where we even finished them that night. The flavours down to the blends of spices. It was all so good. I’m Sri Lankan and can really vet this place as amazing food filled with rich culture. I can’t wait to go back.

Awesome local Bernal heights spot! We came in as the first customers of the day on a weeknight and the owner greeted us warmly. The food was fantastic and there were definitely options on the menu for everyone. The price was also reasonable for the portion you get. Would definitely recommend any of the combo platters. Will definitely be returning for in person dining soon!!
