Most delicious Mexican Restaurant there is in this Area! I’m pregnant so I’m very picky with food but the gorditas de beef hit the spot!! The rice taste like it’s made daily and the beans have a great flavor as well! I also ordered Taquitos and they where yummy! A bonus is they give you lots of extra flour tortillas made by hand. And try their homemade lemonade!! Not so sweet. Not sour. And super flavorful! Definently coming back soon!

Use to have the best tacos in this area. Not anymore. Tortillas some times seem like they are leftover from day before. I ordered chorizo and potatoes taco & received almost all just potatoes. I’ve since moved away from eating here to just now and then. Plus the hours posted are hit or miss. So are yall open on Thursdays or not? Waste of a drive when yall are closed.

This was my first time ordering food from the Cafe, i always drove by and never tried them. Now I will admit that the taste of the tacos and Tamales are very, very delicious! I obviously did not realize what I was missing out on. I ordered my food to go and wish I had dined in just to compliment them on the savory Tamales.

I hate driving in universal city. But the only place I will get barbacoa tacos is this place right here. Their all meat barbacoa tacos are the best. The green sauce is fire. Most of the people I see working are the same ones I’ve seen for ten years. I can’t say enough really.

This is now the only Mexican restaurant my family of 6 all want to go to. We appreciate that their food is made to order and not thrown together from warmer trays, thus it may take a few more minutes to receive delicious quality food.

For a small place this business has some great tasting food. Barbacoa is really good so is the carne guisada. The prices are pretty reasonable. Deffinately recommend getting one of their specials. My only complaknt would be the time youre gonna spend here. ive been about 5 or 6 times and it doesnt matter if you go in or go tbrough drive through it is going to take forever. at least 15-20 minutes for a to go order. but its always hot and fresh so just be a little patient.

Hands down best Barbacoa in San Antonio! Ask for a puffy taco with Barbacoa! You will not be disappointed. Friendly staff I visit here religiously every Sunday for my Barbacoa and big red fix.
