Went for Anniversary dinner vs “going to Dallas” We have not been in at least 12 years. So glad we went. Food was really good, like the changes they have made. Wine was great with a good selection. Service was Fantastic. Brittany was so attentive and gave wonderful recommendations. It is not inexpensive but did not expect it to be. Fair prices for what you get. The atmosphere needs working on but from what we understood that is planned. New deck should be open for the Fall

Bison Balls was amazing. The sauce for them is amazing and the bread wedges complements this dish perfectly. I highly recommend this appetizer. The steaks are cooked exactly to your preference. Side dish of asparagus and the sauce on the plate complements it to perfection. Lova cake with icecream was amazing. Whatever dish you choose here. You will not be disappointed.

So first time coming here and let me tell you how bad the service was our server didn’t introduced her self or tell us what items where good on the menu we got her name because we had to ask on of servers. We ordered appetizers they came out good and got the ribeye steak with two other entrees when my steak got there I didn’t get a steak knife and was waiting for it for about 15min my steak got cold our server didn’t cared her name was then she was saying the wrapped bacon string beans where good so I said I’ll take that as my side guess what 40min later they arrived and when I said why it took so long she literally walked away and didn’t even apologized for not bringing a steak knife or for my sides to be 40min late then she scratched her hair like it was inching in front of us very gross . I’m glad this was my first and last time coming to this place I definitely do not recommend this spot we wished we would of had a different server because the rest of the staff seem pretty cool and nice so we would of had maybe a different experience. Also our waters where low and we had to keep calling our server to keep refilling then witch where empty most of the time our drinks took very long as well.

Little bit of a mixed bag. Most importantly the food was very good! The service was very unprofessional and didn’t match the restaurant or the food. I was ignored a lot for simple things like refills. They must have dropped food or glasses etc 3 to 4 times. One plate landing next to us. So they have some training to do for the wait staff. But otherwise a good experience and great food!

We’re from out of town and staying nearby. Show to eat here based on reviews and menu options. The whole experience was great! The atmosphere is pretty cool, takes you back a few years. The steak and lobster is fantastic! Creighton was our server and he did an excellent job on recommendations and attention to our table. We will definitely eat here anytime we are visiting Rockwall!

I had the 14 ounce New York Strip steak and it was absolutely one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Also had the Caesar salad and the dressing was magnificent. Our server was fantastic and the overall experience was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant.

I am definitely disappointed with this place. Had the Rib-eye with sweet potato and a side of Brussel sprouts , also had the firecracker lobster and shrimp starter. Wife had the sirloin with potato. The food was not great. Steak was very tasteless & chewy even though I ordered it medium. I thought that was weird. Did not finish my $50 steak, not even half of it. Ordered the chimychurji along with it, very vinegary also not a favorite. The sprouts were fine. The sweet potato & baked potato were drenched in what looked like clarified butter, but I love butter so oh well. Firecracker shrimp lobster tastes fine, but very little lobster and lots of breading instead. The aioli was strange, kind of a thousand island herby sauce. I asked if they had beer and was told we pretty much have it all, but the waiter didn’t know what they had, new guy. I tell him a blond or lager, so he comes back with an open beer bottle and its a light blond. I say no thank you, I wish you didn’t open it without asking me first. So no beer, and only an overpriced wine menu. Very small bar. The decor in the dining area is quite dated and there are a lot of animals on the wall. Its creepy and felt like a ride at an amusement park. All in all, sadly I wanted this experience to be great but instead I was greatly disappointed. Total bill was $150.00 and totally not worth it. I would not recommend this dinning experience.

Wedding anniversary dinner. The majority of the stars are based on the food, because that is the most important aspect of any restaurant. The food was excellent. We kicked off with an old fashioned and the special Witches Brew cocktail. Both were strong and we ordered multiple (highly recommend the witches brew). While I was a little disappointed in the appetizer options, I was so glad we ordered the Bacon! The glaze was an excellent touch, my husband shamelessly scraped the plate. I also can’t recommend the scallop dish enough! Cooked perfectly- I mean perfect! This is my go-to dish at other upscale restaurants, so just trust me on this one. My husband had the prime ribeye, and it was also great. Another must have is the Lobster Mac and Cheese! Order it!!! Worth every single penny! We wrapped up with creme brulee and a 3 layer chocolate cake. Both were good.

If you want to pay an expensive price for mediocre food and excellent service then go to this dank place. The restaurant, although recently purchased and being renovated by the new owners, is simply a renovation of an outdoor space. Indoors still looks like an old cave or barn or I’m not sure how to explain it. Feels dark and dirty somewhat. Ignoring all that the food was just mediocre. The pricing is priced as if it is the highest quality from the best chef in the world. Just pure 100% disappointment. Definitely not going back.
