Wow! I won 2 fried chicken dinners from Cummins Restaurant. We just finished eating what we could (plenty left to go). We haven’t had the chicken before & we loved it! Not too much batter, juicy & tender, & good sized pieces. We are taking home half a chicken! John loved the brown gravy on his mashed potatoes. I’m taking home half of the huge baked potato. Our dinners even included 2 desserts, & those are coming home with us. If you haven’t tried their fried chicken, what are you waiting for? It’s awesome! Thanks, Cummins!

I love Cummins family restaurant ❤️. Very friendly, and great food. Great dine in experience. My only draw back i can think of is they are still using plastic and paper to server food and drinks in… plus side ….. you can take your drink with you.

The food was great, so excited we discovered this place! Service not so great. The gal took our order, dropped our food off MAYBE refilled a drink and then we didn’t see her again. Another gal dropped off our tickets and when we asked where we paid she didn’t seem too eager to speak to us. Not very friendly. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day

Ate at Cummins for years. Food is always good. Wish they were still located in Washington at old location. They were always busy at old place. This new location is nicely decorated. Easy access and parking across from ICC in East Peoria.

Very good cheeseburger. My wife got a horseshoe and liked it as well. Meat is definitely fresh. Fries are ok but crispy. I will go back to try the tenderloin because they looked really good!

Not located in a very viable location but defiantly worth trying. The food was really good. I had the country fried steak, shredded hash browns and scrambled eggs, very good, great flavor.

The menu is packed full of every Midwestern delight you can think of. The tenderloin sandwich was home made, served hot, and covered in rich dark gravy. They were out of a few things and improvised due to supply chain issues, but were very upfront about it. The hot seller today was the fried chicken- it looked and smelled heavenly but I cannot eat half a chicken- though I suspect I should have tried. It’s straightforward home cooked American fare- as comforting as a hug from your grandma and portions big enough to share easily, priced very reasonably. Great service, cozy feel. Hours are a little limited but under the circumstances it makes sense. I highly recommend!

Bright and clean. Waitress was very attentive. I had one of the daily specials. Served quickly, reasonably priced. Mostly booths for seating, they aren’t made for oversize customers. I was pretty uncomfortable. A couple small tables & chairs were taken.
