My visit to Cupbop Korean BBQ left me with mixed feelings. Unfortunately, my first experience wasn’t great. I specifically requested no rice and more noodles due to dietary preferences, but my order still had rice in it. This made me question their attention to detail. Additionally, the taste of the food was okay, nothing exceptional. The flavors didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While the concept of BBQ in a cup is interesting, my order being incorrect and the average taste left me feeling underwhelmed. Hopefully, they can improve their order accuracy and enhance the flavors for a better dining experience.

completely messed my order up. I like cupbop but I will never come back to this location. Everytime I ask for no noodles with extra rice and I like to have a lot of sauce. When you chose no noodles with extra rice, it shows up as “no rice” with “More Rice” underneath it. when I asked for them to give extra rice I was told I would have to pay for it. Terrible service really frustrating. I would rather go the extra 10 minute drive to Layton for the one that atleast makes my food right.

This was our first CupBop experience. I had heard a lot about it with my ears, so we decided to give it a try. We went through the drive-thru since our car wouldn’t fit through the front door, and I have to say, it was very convenient. The young man with the cool Farah Faucett haircut who took our order was extremely friendly and courteous despite his young whippersnapper age. As this was our first time at this establishment, the young man (who upon further thought slightly resembles Jim Morrison, albeit I previously referred to him as a Farah Faucett look alike…but I digress) explained the menu options and gave us some good suggestions. He also confirmed our suspicions that the food should indeed enter our digestive tract through our mouths first. This might seem rather obvious, but you never know these days with some foods identifying as aromas despite clearly being edible victuals. The staff all took the time to thank us for the order and were very appreciative of the generous gratuity of 500 cents that we gave along with our payment. All joking aside, the food was made correctly and fast. We were very pleased with our experience at the Roy CupBop. We will come again to try more of the delicious food.

My husband and I ate the Cupbop Roy and loved it. We both got comb bop. I got mandolin and Krunch chicken spice level 4. He got mandoo and rock spice level 6. My husband got the samanco strawberry ice cream since I can’t have dairy. It was good.

This was my first time at Cupbop. Brock was very helpful in explaining the menu and helped me and my family decide what to try. All the staff was really nice and the place was very clean. Everything was so good! One of my new favorites, definitely recommend!
