This is some of the best food you will taste and definitely the best in Murphy’s!!! Don’t be fooled by the word “bbq” (or the location) it’s so much more. Chef Joe was classically trained at Cordon Bleu and his flavor profiles are amazing. We are huge foodies and stop here whenever we get the chance, the menu is constantly changing, especially with the seasons. And if you just want a cold craft beer on draft, they have that too!

The food gets better every time we eat here. We stopped in for Sunday lunch. They had a new menu since the last time we ate here. The food was on point. They have made some changes to the look of the place as well. Clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. If your headed through Murphys you should put this place on you list.

Kind staff, menu that you can understand, tasty looking specials, along with seasonal dishes. Count me in! I tried the Beef BBQ Sandwich with a Blueberry Chipotle sauce. Absolutely delicious. My lady tried the Pork Belly bites, the wine grapes really add to the dish and make the pork just pop in flavor. While talking to the cook he mentioned that just one group can wipe out their stock of cooked beef and that takes 16 hours to make, so he will keep menu items that won’t require long cook times and that are delicious still. I highly recommend this restaurant! I’ll be making this one of my regular stops. Thank you for some of if not the best BBQ up here.

I love it when a cook/chef takes it to a new level. Curiously green potato salad (great flavor BTW), pickled jalapeno slaw. I learned Chimmichuri sauce is great on BBQ. This is what to expect from Cured Belly. Great food, good prices.

Wow wow wow…the real deal! Had a blast chatting it up with the Chef / Owner. The level of detail that goes into every single ingredient is mind blowing. Tried the Pork Belly app and was utterly blown away – then an acid pallet cleanser of a pickled grape to prime me for my pulled pork sandwich accompanied by sauce (not slathered in it), which was delicious.

A nice BBQ place to stop along the road! Service is very friendly and the menu apparently changes every day with limited availability of their items such as their briskets and BBQ chicken! They have a nice patio area they made themselves!

Food worth stopping for! This place is next to a Shell gas station but has an amazing menu of bbq specialties. It’s a tiny place with outdoor dining but it’s worth the stop to enjoy this delicious destination. Meats were smoked too perfection and blended with some amazing sauces and homemade pickles, topped by freshly baked craft buns. Simply delicious!

Shrimp Shell
much better than the Gypsy bbq it replaced. I have tried only the brisket offered only on Friday and Saturday and it’s excellent. The 2 sides I selected with my order (mixed green and potato salad) was an unexpected treat. In many bbq places, the sides were just ho-hum. Here they could be stars of their own. They also offer draft beer and wine. I didn’t try any as it was February and I was sitting outside. A draft would be great in warmer months. Draft in a tiny hole in the wall place? What a pleasant surprise. I didn’t pay close attention to their wine selection but it looks like some small local stuff that could be great.
