Traveling through & thought we would try it. waitress was new, but very sweet. The food was alright. My sons mini corn dogs were way over cooked, he covered them in ranch, but still wouldn’t eat them all. Our dog will be thrilled about her treats. My daughter got the kids pancake w/bacon & egg, bacon and egg was forgotten to be added to the order. We did eventually get them though. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, it is listed to come with Mayo. My sandwich did not come with any and when I asked for some, they told me they were out. So I got ranch, at no charge, my sandwich was still delicious. The restaurant itself is very welcoming and homey inside. Overall, food and experience was alright but not a place I would choose to go to again.

Small town diner. This is my breakfast spot when in Newcastle. Since I found their breakfast enchilada omelet that is my regular. This is where the locals go. The waitresses know their names and orders.

In town for work and this spot was recommended so I had to try it. Small town atmosphere but with great flavor. The food wasn’t expensive but delicious if I’m ever passing thru again ill definitely stop in.

Very disappointing, the eggs were brown. How do you mess up eggs?And the cherry on top , when the waitress brought the bill, it was $57. It was supposed to be $27. When I said something, she brought the square back, plopped it on the table, didn’t say a thing and walked away. No explanation why she overcharged us. We’re locals and we will never go back.

The quintessential diner. Food here is good quality and in MASSIVE quantity. My omelette was about two meals on one plate. Pot coffee is cheap and tastes perfectly fine. Waitress was very friendly and nice!

I had the breakfast special of oatcakes, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, was best breakfast I have had in a long long time, shame I live in washington as it’s a long drive for every Sunday morning breakfast. We stopped on the way back from the South Dakota family reunion. I wish I lived in this awesome town because I love it and I would have breakfast in this nice small town restaurant.
