Must try new Japanese curry restaurant. The menu is very small so there wasn’t many options. We tried the chicken katsu curry and the portion was good. The chicken is dark meat but I prefer white meat other than that, the curry was unique and tasty.

The curry here is really good. A little bit on the sweet side if that’s not your thing. We preferred the chicken Katsu over the beef belly but both are worth a try. The service isn’t great here. It seems like they don’t have enough waiters and should hire more. We had to call them over whenever we needed something and even to order. Very limited seating inside so don’t go during peak meal times. Might come again in the future but probably only for takeout. I don’t think dining in was worth it here.

Been going to the BP location with my brother and now it’s open in Tustin! One of the most flavorful, yet simple Japanese curries I’ve ever had. The service is absolutely amazing and the food comes out pretty quickly after ordering. Their prices are not overpriced like those wacky trendy places. I recommend the Curry fries, Katsu Curry with rice, and even try some of their drinks! It’s always a joy coming to this place when I come back home for leave.

It’s pretty good. I would stick to the chicken katsu curry… the breading actually has flavor which is pretty unique and the curry itself is good. If I had to describe it, it’s a tad on the thinner side and tastes like Curry House with just a BIT more sweetness. It’s nowhere near the amount of sweetness that Maji Curry is, which grosses me out.

Brutally honest review here.

Curry is overly sweet and the protein is either super dry (pork belly) or super thin and soggy (shrimp tempura). And even the picked condiment Fukujinzuke is sweet and soggy. Portion of curry and rice is generous but the rice is probably the lowest quality I’ve eaten anywhere. I am certainly scratching this place off for future dining options for good.

The service was super quick and all the servers were friendly. The spice on the side to adjust the heat level was great, just not as spicy as I usually get. The pickled veg is exactly what I would use at home, so I’m a fan.
