EL “HELLO THERE”
Interesting concept here. When you walk in, there is a sizable display of cake – but there is no really food display – except for the printed menu at the register. We tried the butter chicken and garlic Naan. The plate looked good and was enough for 2. I liked the Naan, but the butter chicken was a bit too spicy for me. Be sure to ask for spice level when ordering so they can adjust your order.

Lip smacking food with decent quantity. Best thing is they are open all day long and not closed in the afternoon so If you need a quick snack or a complete meal this is the place you need to visit. Chola Bhatura is must have. Bhaturas are enormous like they should be and you get it with the accompaniment of raw onion and Achaar. Aaloo tikki Chaat is lip smacking with fresh ingredients and crispy aaloo tikki which is very rare. And amazing chai which is not machine made. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

Curry n Cake is a great place to get an Indian snack or Indian style cakes, especially if you want to special order any cake. They have this whole section for egg free pastries and cakes. You can also special order egg free cakes here, so that is great if you have an egg allergy or don’t eat eggs for health or religious reasons. Their food is very good, but the store is not very big so it can get crowded during lunch rush. I prefer to take dessert cakes to go from here instead of eating in. Their mango cake and tiramisu cake are delicious. Their masala chai tea is excellent and worth the drive there!

TERRIBLE Chili paneer. Very pathetic. Cut pieces of paneer thrown in a sauce, with onions and bell peppers. The paneer wasn’t even deep fried. I placed my order at 9.15pm. If they are in such a hurry to close the restaurant, why bother taking the order?

This resturant is a hidden gem. Its been around for 10 years. This was our first visit. Cake and snacks are spot on, dosa is very good. My favorite was the veg hakka noodles, it is loaded with different vegetables and not just cabbage. My husband liked the chicken 65. Our favourite dessert was the rasmalai cake. They have various baked items. And if one does not like much spice we can even customise spice level. Biryani could do better. Like the mimimalist decor. They should increase the space.
