I stopped in for lunch after hearing from one of their cooks how good the food is. After trying the restaurant, I was disappointed and underwhelmed with the overall quality of the food. It was not flavorful, hot, or seasoned well. The cabbage had little to no seasoning and while the portion size was good, I ate very little of it. The beans and rice was precisely the same. The Jerk shrimp had a few seasonings which were visible on the shrimp, but somehow the texture of the shrimp were tough. My bill came out to $45. I don’t mind paying for food. I simply expect good food. The customer service was good and so was the ambiance. I didn’t get remotely close to “authentic Caribbean cuisine,” flavored food. Everything pictured is what I left. The plantains were pretty good, but slightly over cooked. Plantains normally are crunchy, but crispy. Not to mention, the food is overpriced for such poor quality tasting food.

Service was exceptional and the food was on point. I had the OX Tail, peas&rice, and cabbage. Beef was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. The sides were excellent. The sides were also prepared and seasoned well.

First time here and the food was good! I ordered the Curry Shrimp and Grits with Cabbage and Plantains on the side. My friend ordered the Oxtails. I tried some of her Oxtails, because I have never had them before….. & I can say they were Good! The food, the vibe and drinks was 10/10. Our waitress Shay was awesome!!! I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful. This was our first visit and it won’t be our last. The oxtail, cabbage, plantains, and rice were amazing. That sauce mixed with the rice is to die for. I don’t typically like sweet drinks, but the rum punch was tasty! Shout out to our server Brian…great dude!

Exceptional Caribbean food. Quite literally the best oxtails I’ve ever had. Sampled the jerk chicken and curry chicken, tostones, beef patty and everything was PERFECT!!! Make this a bucket list Memphis stop.

The waitress and the atmosphere was great. First time here tried the beef Pattie’s & rum cake. Rum cake was superb but those damn beef Pattie’s was just awful from the crusted choice of pastry bread to the beef inside which look like a baby diaper. Y’all gotta do better. ( in my Down south voice)

I ordered online curry chicken and plantains for $19. There was an issue with their website so I had to pay when I came in. No prob! Came, gave them my card… “Your total is $25!” Can you tell me why the upcharge? “You mean these $5? It’s just like what $4 and some change! It’s gratuity it’s on every order.” I showed him my online receipt where it’s not added. He went and got the manager like it was a problem when it wasn’t I was just asking! Chef Aron and the other guy with the black shirt understood exactly what I was talking about and they was very helpful, kind and respectful. But when the Owner came out he RUDELY said “from here on out add 4/5 dollars to EVERY order. Smh I don’t have a problem paying for my meal… the thing is you could at least tell somebody that it’s a $5 extra fee for takeout. There are NO SIGNS on the door!!! HORRIBLE ATTITUDES. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I finally caught this place open! Got there at 5pm and barely beat the rush. Got seated right away and Teresa was the best server. I ordered the curry shrimp and grits. I love shrimp and grits and curried was just awesome. Love! The shrimp were huge. Great taste. Good portion size. I wanted desert but didn’t want to chance leaving uncomfortable. Lol. Maybe next time. I’ll be back for more!
