I called and ordered a smoked turkey two weeks before Thanksgiving. Provided my name and phone number with my order. When I called the day before Thanksgiving and inquired about pick up time, they told me they couldn’t locate my order. This created a challenge as we had family in town and had to scramble to find a less than desirable second option. They only offered a ‘sorry’ and not any type of resolution to what their error (phone records to prove my order). A very disappointing experience.

We purchased an 8 pound prime rib Christmas roast, seasoned and ready in a cooking bag. After cooking we were very disappointed to find over half of the prime rib was fat. Thankfully we didn’t have a larger party for Christmas dinner. This would have been very embarrassing. We definitely will not purchase a prime rib roast for Christmas again from Custom Pack in Hastings.
