We had a great first experience at CuVino with delicious food and great service. Our waiter Benjamin went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic dinner. I had the potato croquettes followed by the carbonara and a pistachio gelato affogato-style. The carbonara was rich and extravagant and so flavorful. Even my husband thought the affogato was amazing, and he hates coffee! I can’t wait to go back and try the pizza sometime. Definitely make sure to make a reservation — we actually tried dining here once before, but when we walked in the wait was two hours, so we ended up elsewhere. The weekend is always going to be very busy, but the food is worth it for sure!

Favorite place to eat. Food always good and the service is excellent. Great wine and drinks. Try the espresso martini for dessert.

Such a lovely experience at CuVino last night. We spent all day in the hospital with my dad and came out exhausted and hungry. I took them to CuVino because it was closeby to their house, and they had never been there. Our waiter Ryan was perfect – sweet, knowledgeable, attentive and fun. He was so kind to my parents. Our food was delicious, and had specific signature touches in the seasoning that you always hope a good restaurtant would have. Their house Chardonnay was very good and surprisingly full bodied. We ate our fill and had enough to take home for another meal. We were able to relax and enjoy some time together after a hard day, and CuVino gave us exactly what we needed. We will all definitely return again and again.

We’re new to the area so we’ve been trying out different eateries. Last night for dinner…lovely restaurant…Amazing wine selection…Friendly staff. I ordered the Pasta Rustica. Generous portion…looked delicious…but that’s where the “good” stopped. Sauce was overly acidic…and for such an attractive dish…the taste was disappointing (I make better at home). My food was literally sitting in a pool of grease at the bottom of the bowl (presumably from the sausage) and I’m paying a hefty price for that this morning.

Really bad pizza. The crust was like pillsbury pizza crust from the can – tough cracker like texture on the bottom, zero flavor, low quality. On the top, the crust was soggy and slices were saggy. Overall the pizza lacked flavor and quality – sauce was mediocre, toppings weren’t great (super oily cheese, canned mushrooms). Wouldn’t recommend, if you want a good pie look elsewhere. Their pizza deserves 1 star but their other food/service is decent…so 2/5

Our waiter, Benjamin, was very attentive and friendly. He gave us some good wine recommendations based off what were considering for dinner. Food was fantastic, really enjoyed the Chicken Chesapeake. It was an great experience overall, will recommend to friends and family.

Make sure you make reservations or be prepared for a wait. It’s a very small, crowded space that is VERY loud – makes having a conversation tough. Food was good. A bit skimpy on the salad dressing, but they did bring out more when asked. Got the pasta with shrimp, crab, and scallops. Scallops were cooked properly, not over done or bitter. Crab was processed, not fresh, with lots of shells. Shrimp were cooked properly but served with tails which is a pain to de-shell and eat. Service was fine.

This place is always filling up and I can’t say enough good things about it. We’ve been here multiple times for either a causal dinner or a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. The wine is amazing, the food is so worth it, and the gelato is out out of this world. Recently we tried their pizza and let me tell you: that is one of the most authentic pizzas we’ve had so far. The staff is always amazing and the price is on the higher end but I think it’s warranted. The only thing I wasn’t too impressed with was their tiramisu (no alcohol in it). Also be careful with their calamari appetizer, it is huge! Salads, pasta dishes, and the gelato are must-haves.
