Really good Hawaiian food, way better than the other Hawaiian chains in Layton.

This is the teri beef I ordered. This is the regular size for $13.50 and this is what I got.

Food is excellent. Kalua pork is moist and tender, katsu chicken is wonderfully crispy and the right amount of juicy. Fried rice is GOOD. Mac salad has a perfect blend of mayo, mac, and spices. Service was friendly and prompt. New go-to Hawaiian food in Layton. Can’t wait to see how they develop!

This is a small family run place that has a simple menu and is very friendly. The pulehu chicken is very good and so far our favorite meat option. We ordered the regular combo that came with two meats, two scoops rice, and mac salad. Rice was good and sticky. Mac salad was not something we normally like and still do not like as this tastes about like the others. The kalua pig was moist but the sauce it came with was too salty for me which made eating the pig alone a little bland. You do get a decent amount of food with your order and I will go back to try some of their other dishes as well. I liked this place and is worth a try to compare to the other Hawaiian style places in the area.

Best Hawaiian food I’ve had outside of Hawaii! Quality food that tastes like it was made with love. Super cute, locally owned restaurant, and great prices. Go check them out! This is a new favorite for me and my family

Okay hear me out, this is Utah. It is very rare for me to find spots that I genuinely like. Anyone who knows how distribution works will know that it’s relatively cheaper to get your cheap/poor quality items/ingredients out here for anything. These guys, nah I was very surprised. I spent 3 days thoroughly reviewing them. Trying as much as my wallet could handle. And having wonderful conversations with the staff. My first day there, was welcomed with smiles. The first thing they said to me, “Wassup Bruh.” Now that. That took me back to when I was in Hawaii. I admittedly had a wonderful customer experience ever since then. With an amazing focus and a great goal. Cuzins Kitchen will be the one place I want to stay. I’ve tried quite a few of their main dishes. Which I highly recommend. With plenty of more to come options, Cuzins Kitchen deserves a needed spot here.

We stopped by here a few days ago for a late lunch. I wanted to love it but it wasn’t my favorite. It was just ok. That said, it might perfectly to someone else’s tastes so I suggest giving them a try to see what you think. I had the mini combo with puleho chicken and teri beef. My son had the teri beef and kalua pig and cabbage. We both agreed their sauce has a very strong soy sauce taste.

Cuzins kitchen in Layton is straight gangster when it comes to Hawaiian food. Made fresh to order every time. This is 3rd time hitting them up and it didn’t disappoint. This might be the best loco moco I have had. Also try the Kalua pork and cabbage, it is a flavor bomb. Also always do the fried rice so good.

Very sweet staff and fast service. The food itself was okay but not as good as some other Hawaiian food we’ve had in the area. Specifically the proteins. The Mac salad was delicious though.

Super good Hawaiian bbq with a TON of options. Spam fried rice and Portuguese sausage was really good. I liked their teriyaki beef the most.
