My husband and I got the Prime Rib special and the Chicken Marsala. Nothing was special about the Prime Rib or the sides, so not worth the price ($40). The Chicken Marsala you can’t even taste wine in it. The cheesecake tasted cheap and like it was store bought. Same goes for the Rainbow Sherbet. The best thing was the salad. The croutons were delicious.

High end steak house located in Carson Valley Inn. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere just fine. I took my father out for his 74th birthday and CV Steak didn’t disappoint in any way. I’d strongly recommend this establishment for a semi-formal / formal dinner!

This place can be hit or miss. Some of the wait staff are excellent and some of them…. Well, quite frankly, should go back to working in the coffee shop. Same with the food, it is hit, or miss.
