This is my Grandma’s favorite restaurant in town. I have dined with her here a couple times when I’m in SC visiting. The menu has a large variety, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. My grandma’s favorite is their homemade pies and cakes. It’s always something different like last week’s mandarin orange cake which she enjoyed!

The food is so good. Excellent service as well! We had the fried green tomatoes, which includes their homemade dip (sour cream and hot sauce). Also had the chicken salad with fries- very fresh and tasted like food should taste. Nothing was overly salted or ridiculously seasoned. My mom had the hot chicken sandwich and she loved it. I met the owner and he was very personable. Everyone there was super friendly. The building could use some updates, but the food and service were stellar. Don’t judge the building, go on inside and get some great food. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Chester!

First time ever eating here. So friendly & polite!! The food is good down home cooking. I had country fried steak with real mashed potatoes ( chunks of potatoes present) & fried squash. Hubby had the catfish nugget dinner with slaw, fries & hush puppies. He also got a side of lima beans. Of course he saw the homemade cereal treats & had to have some to take home. He liked the lucky charms one. Took family members to this place & they love it!

Great food, friendly staff and reasonably priced, you can’t beat the Cyclone Restaurant in Chester. I dined-in on a Thursday at about 5:30pm and was served quickly and efficiently by a nice young lady. I had ordered the barbecue plate with seasoned fries, and fried okra – it was priced at 7.95. My companion ordered the same, approximately 10 minutes later the meal arrived, although I’m 99% sure the Okra was from Sysco, it wS cooked to perfection, and the BBQ, was excellent. Total including tip for 2 people, $20 (we had brought our own beverages). I highly recommend this place for anyone passing through or visiting Chester, I will definitely be back

I had the grilled pork chops special with two sides. Mashed potatoes and gravy was sold out for the day. I choose fried squash and rice and gravy instead. I wasn’t partial to the fried squash but my Honey Bunny liked it. I asked for potato salad to swap it out. Overall, the grilled chops were good! Flavorful, not over cooked and the rice and gravy was a great compliment. I would return if I come back to Chester SC.

Ashley and Richy are amazing when it comes to details! They treat everyone like family!! So does everyone else that we have had the pleasure of meeting there! I’m not so good with names or I would list them all!! You get plenty of food at a reasonable price, Great service, and always have some left to take home!!
