I’ve lived in New Bern for about four months and finally ate here after hearing a lot of people tell me how much they love it! I can see the hype. You’ll have to make a reservation to sit at a table, but if you have a small group of fire you can sit at bar or window sit if you find a spot. Staff was very friendly, the restaurant very clean and I love the dark lighting. I ordered the jalapeños chicken sandwich with a side salad. For dessert I went with an espresso martini. Was very pleased with my overall experience and will definitely return. I hear the pizza is amazing, can’t wait to try it next time.

Fantastic restaurant! The restaurant is beautiful… located in an older building on the main downtown road in New Bern. They have renovated the space with great attention to detail and the restaurant offers different dining experiences based on the area you are seated; from a more intimate space in the back to a lively street facing section. The server did a great job with recommendation and menu explanations. The drinks were creative and tasty! And the food… as much as I enjoyed the rest of the experience, it was the best part! We had a crawfish bowl (I forgot to take a picture because we dove right into it), a pizza from their authentic pizza oven, and a burger (I’m a burger guy and it was a top 10). Make plans to go visit this restaurant, you will definitely enjoy your experience!

Nice place, had been told to try this when in the area. Had the burger and young chicken. The burger was really good and cooked to order. The young chicken lacked seasoning, it was beautifully presented but didn’t live up to the appearance. The service was odd as we seemed to be an inconvenience, no eye contact and lacking a personality. Maybe a bad day but at least fake it. We are paying $18 for a hamburger… We will go back again if we are in the area. I should not forget to mention the bourbon selection at the bar was excellent, EH Taylot, Blanton, Eagle Rare, etc. If you are a bourbon person, there is something here for you. The bartenders were fun to watch.

Five star lunch at a new spot for us — Cypress Hall in downtown Historic New Bern. The Bianco Wood Oven Pizza and Arugula Salad were awesome! Great service by Brad. Definitely worth a stop!

Impressive quality food and service. Match that if high quality restaurants I’ve been to in bigger cities. Sitting in one of the booths across the bar offers a very cool atmosphere and the menu offers a nice variety of creative and delicious dishes.

Our first visit to New Bern was delightful! I had questions about the restaurant due to some allergies I have. The manager Kat was quick to answer, was super accommodating and on point. Our dinner and service was fabulous! It was a unique menu and there wasn’t a huge selection but the care and quality put into the food made up for that in bounds!! Well definitely go there again next time we visit.
