A fantastic place to visit, the atmosphere was great and the service was some of the best we’ve had in a very long time, our waitress was sydney, and she done a fantastic job on taking care of us, the food was very good and the portions are large, a little more seasoning would have been nice but overall was still a great meal. We will be back when we’re in the area.

I’m from south Louisiana bayous and it made me feel like I was at home. The food was good wasn’t the best but the thin fried catfish and shrimp plate wasn’t a let down.. definitely going back soon

Not bad, but not really good. My $30 filet was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and got medium well-done. It tasted good, but wasn’t what I wanted. My friend ordered thin-fry catfish, supposedly their specialty. He got regular, thick cuts of fish. Again, good, but not what we wanted. The lights are so bright, I squinted most of the time. They need to be dimmer after 7 pm. It wasn’t bad enough to make a big deal out of it and complain, so we just paid the $60 tab and $12 tip, and went home disappointed. And this is pretty much the story of eating out in Pike County. What a shame.

I ordered an adult whole catfish dinner and the hamburger steak dinner for the wife. What I got was filet instead and the hamburger steak wasn’t fit to eat. Had to throw it out. Don’t order take here. They never get it right.

Got here around 6:30 waiter took our order. It got misplaced somehow.. we didn’t get our food for about 1 hr or so.. But the waiter and the manager took care of us…Food was good and our waiter was great… thanks to them both for making sure everything was good…
