This place is definitely a hidden gem. The ribs were extremely tender and flavorful. Absolutely the best I have ever had! Our waitress Cindy, was so nice and super attentive. She made the experience! We will be back!

Always good. Ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. The homemade salad dressing is good, we like to get the blue cheese and french. Great BBQ sauce, we usually get a bottle to take home. Used to be able to go more often. We moved out of state, but still try to stop here every time we are in the area.

We have the hickory smoked ribs they were absolutely fantastic you can’t cut them with a knife because as soon as you try the meat slides off the bone. Here also is a picture of our fantastic waitress underneath the Hickory House sign. She brought our leftovers out to us because we had forgotten them on our table.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We’ve been going there for nearly 50 years. The ribs are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The staff are all seasoned veterans that have been there for years and very, very gracious and professional. I can’t recommend any higher!

The food is amazing. They have the best ribs and baked potato in town. Tenderloin and onion rings are delicious as well. The staff is very friendly. If you haven’t been there you are missing out.

If you’re in town or a local, you owe it to yourself to eat here. The fries, onion rings and ribs are amazing. If you’re a baby boomer or gen x, it’ll be like entering a time machine and traveling back to the 70s with the decor and customer service.

I cant believe the raing is this high! This place sucks! Alcohol drinks are super small, only 3 sips worth! Salad was lettuce only. Ribs=microwaved. chicken= way over done (dark pieces too!). tenderloin= undercooked super thin/small and tasted kinda fishy. The prices are insane for what you get. You couldn’t get me back in there for a free meal! Discusting.

Great ribs! And wonderful service. It was our first visit so Cindy brought us a sample of the ribs. Then we got to meet the owner, what a hard working, kind lady. Had the chicken and shrimp too, all was good. On our list for another visit.

What a hidden gem! I know I’m late to the show with this one. This page is a freaking institution, and everyone needs to try it. Don’t let the exterior or location fool you, the food is excellent and the service beyond great!
