This restaurant is in the same location as Sansei Seafood. They share the same bar and dining room, and one can order from both menus no matter where in the dining room one is seated. The menu offers the same entrees usually found on menus of high-end steakhouses, and the service is first rate. The food could be better for such a steakhouse. The steak was cooked to order but lacked flavor. The sides looked and tasted like they were prepared too quickly without attention to detail. Prices are always expected to be high in such a place, but at d.k, they are way too high, especially when contrasted with the food.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The bar was full but the host offered to help seat me as I was on my way out. Beautiful balcony seating, glad the bar didn’t work out. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Try the Gomodare sauce on a steak, it is great! The manger Frank came by after the meal – all around a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend. I will be going back!

Went here twice on our trip to Honolulu, the food is excellent. The sansei japanese restaurant and the dk steakhouse are in the same building, and the menu consists of items from each place, although the steakhouse is predominantly American food and vice versa. Pro tip: sit at the bar and order from either menu! Great for the indecisive couple. Also if you’re looking to visit on the weekend, reservations are recommend. We had no issues being seated during the week.

Honestly, it is 5 stars for us. Food, especially Rib-Eye steak is delicious. Overall experience was just great. I highly recommend wine tasting which is just $15 and you can taste wine from different regions. It is worth to visit it
