D’s is amazing!! Not only is the food, service, and bartender amazing, but the owners are just the best people around. Tonight we had the shrimp pasta (our FAV!) and chicken enchiladas with an amaretto sour & a margarita. It was all delicious!

This place is amazing! Located in downtown Waxahachie. Part of the Railport District and just a block down from Railport Brewing company. Very exciting to experience a wonderful and flavorful meal, along with exceptional customer service. The building used to be a cotton gin facility back in earliest 1900. This is a family owned restaurant and the food is a representation of central and South America including Mexico. I highly recommend anyone to visit this place. You wont be disappointed. ❤️

Went for breakfast and had d’amigos tacos. They were so so good. Loved every bite. The side of potatoes – while well seasoned and a generous portion – fell flat for me. Not a lot of flavor. Could use some onions and more spice. But overall loved our experience.

Y’all! I went to D Restaurant Waxahachie and let me tell you!!! Mmm mmm good!! This is the carne asada with black beans, rice, potatoes and plantains. The asada was so tender! Mouthwatering, flavor explosion. The owners are great too! Oh, they serve homemade chips with salsa and black bean dip too!!

The food was delicious! My husband got the trio tacos and I got the salmon and both dishes were completely cleaned off at the end. I love the chips and salsa & bean dip! It was delicious!! The tortilla chips were warm and fresh. We were sad that they’re still waiting on their license to sell alcohol but I’m sure once they do, the business will be open later and be more crowded. We got there a little after 7 pm on a Friday night and they closed at 8pm. We were able to finish our dinner in time for them to close. There is a parking lot in the back which is nice. Not in the best location but it’s like a little gem. Definitely go check them out.

I’ve had Ms Sara’s catering before so when I found out she had opened a restaurant I had to try it. I ordered the salmon dinner and I have had salmon at many different restaurants and I have to say – this was the best, most flavorful salmon I’ve ever had! Love the rice and black bean dip too. And the chips and salsa were freshly made and seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed my meal so much that I came back the next day for lunch to try their Cuban sandwich. And again, superb! This is a new gem in Waxahachie. Be sure to support this local business.

Delicious Latin food! So glad we found a place closer to home, and don’t have to drive all the way out to Dallas. Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was delicious, as well as salsa and black bean dip served with fresh made warm chips. The owners are so kind. Lunch was a pleasure!
