This is hands down the BEST Trinidadian restaurant in the area! Food is authentic and flavorful, prices are reasonable, portions are generous and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Very chill vibe, always clean and well kept with lots of seating. Good variety of food, great vegetarian options and everything is always fresh.

Discovered this place through TikTok, it is truly a low key hidden gem!!! Love the doubles & curry shrimp with buss up shut. Atmosphere makes you feel as if you’re actually in Trinidad. I always find parking in the residential streets around the corner. Staff are really nice as well!

I was googling a place near by that sold corn soup as I had a itching for some so bad. I came across this place and decided to give them a try based on the raving reviews. I’m new to Queens and not too familiar with the area. However this place did not disappoint. I love how they’re making the chicken right out front on the grill, you come inside the place was welcoming and clean. Music playing and setting the island vibe. The staff were even cleaning when I came in to order and were very nice and friendly. I ordered 2 large corn soup and 2 doubles with everything. When I tell you the food was so good! I was doing a little dance lol! Doubles were flavorful and fresh. The corn soup was delicious and I could say the best I’ve had thus far. There was ample parking right in front as well. I will surely frequent this place

First time there at the recommendation of a friend. It’s was late in the afternoon, so there was no line. The place was clean and the staff was super friendly. I ordered shrimp roti and was asked what I wanted on it along the way. Also ordered doubles for the next day. The manager/owner recognized that I was not a regular and greeted me with courtesy and curiosity; and offered me a complimentary beverage. My food was delicious and I would return to try other dishes.

I was visiting my mom in Queens Village and my eyes caught this colorful “D Roti Hut “. I was hungry and decided to try this new place. I ordered 3 doubles and took it to my parents. To my surprise, it was Absolutely Delicious! The blend of the the sauce that was added to the doubles was very refreshing. On my way home to Long Island, I stop by again and ordered a few more doubles, fried rice, with stew chicken. I took it home for my husband to try it. He was impressed with the flavorful fried rice and fresh doubles. The staff was very friendly and patient. I will certainly order again!

Great food, reasonable pricing, and great service. A nice little West Indian spot that isn’t commercialized and over hyped in queens village. Will definitely be back when I am back visiting NY!
