I got to take a look in the back! Clean kitchen!! Super awesome cooks. Great young kid making sure the dishes are clean. The wait staff and bartender are friendly, respectful and easy to talk to. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like your with family during Thanksgiving. Not very often you find a place like this. Come early, man it gets packed. That meatloaf was killer!!!

Good food. Kids meal don’t come with cans of pop. They do come with fountain drinks. So know ahead of time if you get a can, it will be am extra $3.00. Sauces are extra too. I liked the place, but telling me these facts beforehand would make me like it more.

Went out with some gals ice fishing. Found this place on google maps. I had their Saturday night prime rib special. 12oz, with soup/salad, potatoe and veggies. It was excellent. Had it medium rare. Super tender. Green beans were still a little crunchy- the way I like it. And I got a loaded potato (butter, cheese, bacon, and sour cream ). My soup was their chili- I thought it had just the right spice level. It was really good; I thought it was a little sweet but not too sweet: was different for me since I do not add sugar in my chili. I also had a sweet tooth- so I ordered their chocolate lava cake to go- but had to have a bite , right. Great service. She had a smile the whole time and got my order correct. Definitely will come here again! Also, nice holiday decorations.

Friday fish fry was incredible! No cheap cod here, real honest fish fry. Fish came out hot and as fresh as you could ask for, just like you’d fry and serve at home. Tried the Ruben and it had a fantastic smokey flavor to corned beef, completely new experience but so worth it.. The sauerkraut was just right and the Rye was toasted just right. Nothing was soggy or too crunchy. Tried the Buffalo chicken wrap, the well seasoned chicken was tender as can be. Had fresh lettuce and tomatoes.. The wrap was lighty toasted and just right size. Our first time but certainly not the last!

Very tasty patty melt on marbled rye, medium well. French fries were hot, crunchy, flavorful. PepperJack Burger, well-done, was cooked perfectly! It’s a boathouse, so there’s a shower in the women’s restroom, and clear signs saying what can and what CANNOT be flushed down the toilets.

It was fine enough. We were discouraged from ordering the entrees (probably because it’s easier for the kitchen to make sandwiches). The food wasn’t remarkable but it wasn’t bad. Our crab wontons were cold inside. But the service was less than desirable. The waitress brought out 6 of the 7 plates then asked “is the anything else I can for you?” I said we ordered something for the toddler and she snapped that it’s coming and she can only fit so many plates on a tray. Wouldn’t go back unless every other restaurant in the area is also unremarkable.
