I heard so many good things about it so I finally gave it a try for myself. Everything was made fresh to order. The chicken strips were lightly breaded and tastes like home cooking as did the catfish. Definitely going back to try the gator, gizzards, liver, and shrimp.

Stopped in late with a very hungry kid, ordered a duo combo with Okra and slaw and cobbler to share, asked for no spicy since I was sharing it with my 5yo…the order taking forever didn’t really bother me, especially since they were training people, what sucked was driving home 20 mins after a 30 min wait just to open the food and nothing I could feed my kid…we got spicy Gator, spicy shrimp, spicy fries and spicy mac. While I did enjoy them, they weren’t what I was expecting or wanting and I wound up having to cook supper any ways to feed my kid. I kinda wanna try them again but also I don’t cause I feel like I kinda got ripped off.

Small little place with fresh cooked chicken, fish, shrimp, and Gator.. only four stars due to no fountain drinks, tables need see work and the A/C isn’t keeping it cool inside. Food is very good, especially for semi-fast food.

Went in to grab some chicken tenders and chicken liver at the 31st Street store, got told they didn’t have any livers. I heard this place was iffy, and they proved it. Thought I’d give them a shot, but I won’t come back. If you can’t have what’s on the menu, why go there? I went across the street to the grocery store deli, they had everything I was looking for.

The service was phenomenal, and the people working are amazing. The downside is that for a “Cajun” style meal, I was not impressed. The chicken has absolutely NO cajun on it, and the fried jalapeños were bland as well. The amount is huge, but for someone that enjoys a kick, there wasn’t any. I have had more flavorful chicken at KFC. Overall a 4 star only due to the people.

Food is good but the manager or owner (dont know ehich the person was) needs some people skills, the worker forgot to charge me for extra “shack sauce” and the manager/owner was condensending to me THE COUSTOMER when it wasent my fault the employee failed at their job..will NOT be going back anytime soon
