In a small town near Rome, in 1931, Remo opened what would became one of the most popular Roman restaurants in the dolce vita of 1960s.
He dreamed of a rustic, warm and loving restaurant, where customers would meet at the table and feel at their grandparents’ home.
Today, his grandson Francesco proudly continues this tradition in the United States, in order to spread the delicious cusine that made his grandfather famous in Italy.
At Da Remo you can taste traditional Italian flavours. You feel at home, just like Francesco felt when he went to vist grandfather Remo.

What a pleasure to visit here in the Village at Lake Las Vegas. The staff are so jolly, friendly and hard working. They were obviously enjoying one another, several were speaking Italian to each other. We had pastries and coffee, so good we will be back tomorrow. The freshness of the pastries was truly wonderful. It is also a pleasure to eat near the lake.

This place is great if you like your bakery products defrosted after a few days in the freezer. They don’t have any clue about how croissants should be served and presented. Cold, squished, dry like cardboard – exactly the way you have them from the frozen section of your discount supermarket. Except the price – almost $7 per piece. Avoid this place – they are still in business because ignorant first time customers from the hotel near by that can be fed all this bad quality bakery products. The tragedy is that the workers were clueless and sincerely they didn’t know what a patisserie place should do and serve. A far cry from the real deal that Le Cafe du Lac was in that place before. Whoever gives this place a 5 stars are big time misleading us all. You can find better products and services at the Smith’s next door.

This is the place to go for coffee and breakfast in the area. Coffee is real Italian espresso coffee. Food is cooked perfectly. Great portions and the flavor is the way I’d make it.

Day after July 4th, my family of 9 came to have breakfast here and while we spent $185 plus 20% tips the lady at the register was complaining and rolling her eyes the entire time because the order was too big and they only had one chef. I don’t get it, 1. Why do you only have one chef the day after a major holiday like July 4th? 2. We are not asking for free food or discounts, you are a restaurant with the intentions of serving your every client that comes in through the door without the unnecessary complaints. Comments like “the chef is going to kills me” are extremely unpleasant and unnecessary. Bringing our coffees and rolling your eyes while you turn around are childish. The only pleasant person to deal here with was the guy making our coffees/barista. He was so nice and understood his job. This girl is the first person that your clients see and meet at this restaurant and it surely is not a pleasant one.

Really cute cafe on the water! The food was really good and the coffee was fancier than I was expecting for the price. Since it’s the only thing open so early, it is a little crowded at breakfast. Cute though!

Amazing view! Fantastic coffee! Very good crapes! The service there is extremely slow, one of the tables next to us had dirty dishes for more than 30min and none of the servers cared… they also run out of silverware so we had to use plastic once ???
