I can say that Da Sushi is DA Sushi around Merritt Island, Rockledge, and Melebourne. I’ve tried finding a good spot for sushi that isn’t too expensive, and it’s great quality. I like the atmosphere in there with the Japanese themed restaurant and awesome Zoro and Luffy statutes from One Piece. I’ve been to Pacific Rim, Tahi Tahi, Wabi Sabi, and Sushi Factory, and nothing is compared to this amazing sushi restaurant. There are some downsides that I didn’t really care for, in my opinion, and that’s the chicken and the fried rice. The rice was too puffy but tasted well. The chicken had its own taste with the teriyaki sauce but still needed some more seasoned quality to it. The salad tasted like any other type of ginger salad. The special roll that I got was the “Crouching Tiger Roll,” and I felt like I was in the jungle trying to ambush my prey. The spicy Tuna and Salmon Roll was pretty good also, very fresh with the nicely done rice combined with it. The California Roll was average. The crab was a little hard to chew, and I didn’t really have a fill for it. Overall, the experience was good for the service, and excellence and the food were decent. But it is called “Da “Sushi”” for a reason.

Such a fun little sushi place with great food and service especially! Has a nod to One Piece as well so that’s cool if you know the show. The ramen is great and the sushi is too! So far I’ve tried their “The Perfect Tuna” and “Pretty in Pink” rolls. They also have takoyaki which is nice as it can be hard to find sometimes.

After getting great recommendations from our neighbors on the fantastic food at Da Sushi, we decided to give it a try last week. We were not disappointed! In fact, we went back two more times that week and got a to go order over the weekend. The food is fresh, the portions plentiful, the food flavorful and the service outstanding. Andy was our server the first night and we have had Kimberly on subsequent visits. We are treated like old friends and the entire vibe of the restaurant is just plain happiness! We are working our way through the menu… Mongolian beef, hibachi filet mignon and lobster, house lo mein, a sushi menu beyond compare. I can’t wait to go back!!!

We ordered sushi to go. When we got home the sushi was so hot because they put the hot fried rice and spring rolls in the same bag as the sushi and made me sick and vomit. Everyone who works in the food industry knows that raw fish has to stay cold or bacteria will build and taste nasty. And nasty it was. I could not eat more than 1 piece and had to throw the rest away. $40 down the drain. We had to throw all the sushi away. I was so extremely upset my wife didn’t want me to go back because I was shaking from so much anger. Plus we ordered a California roll and it looked nothing like a California roll. Do not go to this place or order to go at least your raw fish will be hot and nasty.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly servers, good quality especially for the reasonable dinner prices. Full bar is a nice option. Wish they had a few booths, seating is all open tables. Good for groups or families. Not so much for an intimate dinner experience. Would definitely go back.

Love this place! The food is delicious and they have a lot of options on their menu. I am a very picky eater and I have to choose which fabulous meal I will have each time. The owners have such a great relationship and the restaurant has a great vibe. You must try the ninja fruit roll for dessert it is like no other dessert you’ve ever had!
