The most legit Da Nang shop in San Jose. Got Bò Nhúng Ớt too!

Chao long – the pork organs and porridge, so delicious. The most important thing is cleanliness and flavorful sauces coming with this. Sizzling beef and the season udon are awesome as well. For the drink, recommend the secret garden – what a nice name to call, taste so fresh. In general, price is acceptable, not cheap but you get a big portion instead.

Authentic meal. The menu is simple, only a few items to choose from. The people were friendly. If you are adventurous and want to try something different and can go outside your comfort zone I recommend you check out this spot

Compares to other Vietnamese restaurants, this restaurant’s menu is very limited and concentrated on a few dishes that they do pretty well. If you’re Vietnamese or understand Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is enough and worth your time. I tried Crab Udon Noodle, Pork Offal Porridge, and Bun Dau Mam Tom. All is great, flavors bursting in my mouth, every element in each dish is well prepared. Amongst all the restaurants with tons of dishes on their menu that drives you crazy every time to make a choice, try this place. Deciding is a breeze, and the quality is good. Worth it!

We came by for dinner, ordered Banh Canh. Surprisingly it was insanely tasty broth was not salty and the clear udon was chewy. Just wish they add a bit more udon. It wasn’t enough to fill me up. Will try the porridge and bo ne next time.

Authentic Vietnamese foods. Limited menu but every dish is on point. This place has the best “banh canh” in Bay Area, what stood out for me was the crab cake and the noodle which is not the normal commercial type used at other restaurants.

So unfortunate because their banh canh is delicious. However, I can no longer support their business. We’ve always ordered it via doordash and it comes with pig feet. This time we went in person and they didn’t give me pig feet. I thought maybe they forgot but when I asked, the guy said “oh, you want it?” And I was so confused and asked “doesn’t it usually come with it?” And he said yes then went to go get it. I was so in shock because it felt like they were trying to rip me off bc i don’t speak Vietnamese while all the other customers there are Vietnamese and I saw they all had pig feet (Yes, I was observing others because I was so in shock and wanted to confirm my suspicions).

Super fast, decent flavor, generous on shallot and meat, true to their menu pics. Will come back again. Hot chilli sauce is super hot.

Order takeout banh canh. The soup was on the plainer side, but there is a lot of flavor in the variety of meats. The pork bone was delicious, it had a lot of meat around it and marrow as well. The shrimp seemed pretty fresh. The crab meat was very tender and flavorful. The noodles were chewy and not soft, which is the way I like them. Overall, I’ll come again when I am craving banh canh. But I want to try the other things on their simple menu too!

Love the udon here. Everything is very fresh. Good portion, soup is not too thick nor thin. Chả cua in the udon is the best.
