What a discovery! Check this place out. This is my first four timer since I moved here! Once there was a wonderful Crawfish Bisque. The Pork Grillades and Grits are worth the trip – I’m not kidding!! I”ve had this twice now. The fish of the day was delicious – there’s a magic in the sauce. The tiramisu was perfect….again and again. Donna and Cammie can be counted on to make great recommendations. I tried the shrimp and grits and I’m a different person now. The chef has made this NOLA classic with a whole new spin…Southern Comfort and orange juice were the only two secrets he shared. Today we tried the Chicken Piccata and Fettuccini Alfredo. Where does that pasta come from?? OMG!! Come find out more!!!

One of the best lunch & dinner spots in Metairie. Chef Duke never lets you down with his award winning meatballs, eggplant Locicero & nightly specials. Everything we have eaten has been delicious. Chef Duke personally comes out to say hi & make sure your happy with your meal. A don’t miss experience for a family meal or date night with your special someone. Locally owned with attention to detail. Thank you for the great memories.

Service was fine. I understand the waitress can only move as quickly as the food is prepared but 15 minutes to bring me my soda on a slow night…

Went Friday night and had the pompano special. Really good and a very large portion. Also had the biscuits which were a special. Best biscuits I have eaten. Hit the sweet and savory notes.

Our family celebrated Mother’s Day at Dab’s Bistro and everyone in our party was so pleased with the menu options along with the excellent service provided. Every dish was perfectly prepared, seasoned to appeal to all pallets. Chef Duke is #1 in my book and I highly recommend Dab’s Bistro for any and all occasions. Thank you Chef Duke from the Davis family.

Artichoke dips is tasty, and enjoyed by all. I had the daily fish special and the lump crabmeat is a must; especially if someone is picking up the tab. Angeli was a little off her service game, but she did her best. She was coming on from being off and rough on the specials, but we got there. Chef Duke passed by and made sure everything was going well. They had some presentations in the center section and they took most of the parking and room. Stupid setting with the chairs to block off walking thru, but we could hear the whole thing. A little nosy, with the woman’s auxiliary swapping gossip while drinking copious amounts of alcohol.

Easter lunch was not good at all. Food was definitely not up to par. I saw another family that was there that was having a similar experience as we did. Food was overpriced. I overheard a conversation with another party and I would have gotten up and walked out if it was me the way the manager spoke to them. I get it that it’s a holiday and things can go wrong but it was a 11:30 reservation and shouldn’t have gone south so fast.

We went for the Easter special. I’d like to start by saying the only good thing I can say is TRACY went above and beyond for her service.

The food and service are amazing! Will definitely be back. Marie was a great server! We started with sharing the Eggplant LoCicero then we ate each a cup of the loaded Artichoke soup our main course was Voodoo Shrimp and Grits and Spaghetti a la Bolognese then to finish we shared the banana fosters bread pudding. Everything was perfect and delicious.
