I really enjoyed their stir fry sitting on top of crispy noodles. The flavor was hearty and lightly salted. The vegetables taste better than the meat. The noodles never got too soggy either.

Perfect lunch stop on our way to Monterey Bay! My partner recommended the place and said it was great years ago and it is still great to this day! The pho was super tasty and the broth was very rich. The Vietnamese coffee kept me awake all day. The lemonade never arrived but they were super friendly and nice and took it off the bill. I’ll stop here again if we are driving past San Jose. Omg now I want pho now.

Outdoor paint by the wall looks great and modern that’s why we decided to try it when we walked by.

Excellent surprise in San Jose: an authentic vietnamese restaurant held by a friendly family. The Pho soup is definitely the best in town, generous, with fresh herbs and soybean sprouts. Became my favorite lunch place during my stay in San Jose.

I got a chance to have a lunch in Dac Phuc. Ms Loi, the owner is nice. Pho is okay, but I think the best is “fire banana”. Must try.

Overpriced place. A bowl that’s normal is considered large and 1 beef pho cost $15. And the taste is not even good. Crazy.

It’s a shame. I really wanted to like this place, but the pho was just not good. Very shallow broth, missing all the characteristic pho spices like anise. Not much more depth than salt water.

It’s one of the go to places to and best place eat pho. Local vietnamese knows this is the best pho in SJ. Homemade family recipe handed down generations. Have to try their Beef Cripsy noodles..and rare beef pho.

I absolutely love Dac Phuc. I’ve been looking for a pho place that is up in San Francisco that can hold a candle to this place for ages and I’ve not found the contender just yet. The broth is crazy flavorful and not too heavy on the star anise, which I prefer. Plus the noodles are never overcooked and the service is warm and friendly.
