I have to honestly say… This was the ABSOLUTE WORSE service that I have ever in my entire life have had!!!! Here’s why… I arrived at Daddy cates a little earlier then what I thought I should so I went in and sat down on the couches that they have… I sat there for about 15 minutes.. NO ONE said anything to me at all!! Not a hey how are you? How can I help you mam? May we get something for you? Etc… so I left!! Being that I arranged a very important meeting with someone…I had no choice but to come back a second time the same day ,and it was only about thirty minutes in between.. Came in again and once again NO ONE!! Even acknowledged my presence!!! Not only that… the person I had a meeting with walked and they greeted him with ABSOLUTELY NO HESITATION!!!! If it weren’t for the very important meeting I had I would have NEVER came back!! 0 stars!!!!!!

They cater to coffee addicts like myself who enjoy a smooth brew and cozy environment. They offer a few non-dairy milk options in addition to the traditional milks. I highly recommend the oat milk for anyone who prefers a plant based option. There are a few comfy chairs and cafe tables to enjoy your drink or bakery item. They have a selection of scones, cakes, muffins, and cookies all made fresh every day. My personal favorites are the cranberry orange muffins and the chocolate espresso muffins. Whether you grab and go, or snuggle up for a bit to read and reflect, Daddy Cate’s Coffee is a great little spot.

A Brunswick staple, this coffee house has friendly customer service, cozy seating, unique mugs for dining in or sustainable recyclable cups for carry out. I come here for the iced coffee, it’s the best I’ve ever had! The prices here are fair for coffee but a little high for the food. They are in no rush at this coffee shop though, so be prepared to wait a minute. If the owner isn’t there, it is unorganized and hectic. It is a very small place and is easily crowded but there is outdoor seating available.

I love this place! I go every time I’m in town. You can’t get much more “friendly neighborhood coffee shop” than this. The coffee and the food are both excellent and they’re always friendly. They have really good cinnamon rolls, a variety of muffins, and sandwiches for lunch.

My first visit to the shop. I have never walked into a cafe/restaurant and felt such a friendly and inviting environment. Everyone was so inclusive and welcoming! I did not want to leave and I consider myself an introvert!! Btw….I ordered coffee and my husband ordered the daddy dog. Both were delicious! Will definitely return.
