Daddy Mac’s is our modern take on Southern hospitality. Our menu is deeply rooted in the recipes of owner Dave McFarland’s grandparents, so we like to say Daddy Mac’s is steeped in family tradition and pickle juice.
Everything is made from scratch, including the smoked meats on our Bar-B-Cue-Terie Boards, unique mac’n’cheese dishes, sandwiches, sliders, and our fun, shareable appetizers. We serve local, craft beers including some you won’t find anywhere else, as well as the latest cocktails. There is live music on Friday nights, plus, with 24 tv’s, we’re the perfect place to catch your favorite game. Ask about our event space for small groups. We arrived late in the evening after a long day and the mac and cheese with ritz crackers was everything I needed. My husband enjoyed the tacos. The atmosphere was okay. The mac and cheese I got doesn’t typically come with brisket on top but I special requested it. We will probably try again at a different time of day.

Love this place. When we sent Saturday night, there was live music which was a great. Food is delicious! Highly recommend the frito chili Mac n cheese skillet. The sliders were great as well. We had 6 different ones and my favorite was the pulled pork slider and the smash burger. We were so full and couldn’t even finish all of them. Saturday was busy and they were lacking in staff so our waiter was running around everywhere. Everybody was helping where necessary. Be patient because the food is worth it.

I was visiting the Asheville area and came across Daddy Mac’s. I was highly impressed with our server, Jonah. He was extremely attentive and gave several recommendations that were absolutely delicious. I was so much in love with Daddy Mac’s that I returned 4 days later with my husband and requested to be seated in Jonah’s section. Jonah’s charismatic personality, and the endless options of delicious entrees will be making me a repeat customer for years to come.

If you can make it past the hostess, a positive dining experience awaits the whole family. The salad in a jar was amusing and very good. The cheerwine wings were another novelt that actually surprised and delighted. The shame is the lack of a real brisket sandwich, so make your own by ordering a brisket burger and substitute the burger for more brisket.

Went there for a dinner with my wife and had an amazing meal. We enjoyed the whole experience so much we asked Emma, who was a fantastic server, about what it would take to open a Daddy Mac in our hometown. The food was fabulous, the environment was exceptional and will definitely come back any chance we can! Maybe they might put one in Columbus Georgia so we can enjoy it all the time.

Brisket was juicy and tender, pulled pork was fall apart flavorful, wings were tiny and smoked to perfection, collards bang on, beans bang on (love when served warm) and the Mac and Cheese with that Ritz cracker crust. I feel ill from polishing it all off, and so so satisfied. Thanks Jonah, couldn’t ask for better service and sharing in my passion for multiple home made dipping sauces, which this place does better than anyone else.
