Catfish fried to perfection, not undercooked like some places. Homemade cheeseburgers were juicy and not dried out. Ribs had good flavor and texture. Brisket was tender. The hot links were good but i didnt like the regular sausage. It tasted and looked like Eckridge sausage. Staff was courteous and down to earth. I like the small town vibe.

This place is fabulous! The catfish is the best I’ve had. The breading is crispy and robust, while the fish is cooked to perfection (not mushy at all). The hush puppies are delicious too. The giant baked potato is perfectly cooked and loaded with chopped beef and other toppings. The sliced brisket is tender and smoky, and the bbq sauce is perfect, not too sweet. The sides we had were all good, especially the mac n cheese. The peach cobbler would have been more awesome with vanilla ice cream, but it was great by itself. The nanner puddin is to die for, and the sweet tea hit the spot on a hot day. We stopped on our way back to Houston, but I would seriously drive three hours just to fill my tummy here again…

Great BBQ. Sliced brisket is wonderful. Gotta try the homemade nanna pudding. Mostly self service but we were offered drink refills several times. Overall a great place!

The meat was good but the hamburger bun was store bought and hard. The beans were not home cooked but ranch style beans from a can so I definitely wouldn’t come again

The BBQ was on par with other local joints but it was the service and price that set Comer’s apart for me. They have a Thursday chopped pork sandwich special for 2.99 and everyone was incredibly friendly
