Great diner, good food, but you will not feel much warmth from the service if you are not a regular and/or you don’t pay with cash. Everything about the place is great apart from the hot and cold service, and it is a cozy joint so it gets packed.

The diner experience here is worth one visit, and clearly is popular, with many staff interacting with people like they are old friends. The service was good, we didn’t wait long to be seated, although the food didn’t live up to the expectations. Fries were cold, the pancakes had a ton of cinnamon (I guess that’s good tho if you like that sort of thing).

We went there for breakfast and the food was ok at best. I feel like it was low quality food maybe, watery eggs, thrown together. The hash browns had the peels on the potato also, i don’t care for that. It tasted dirty. There were A LOT of ants all over our both. The waitress was really nice and professional but there was a gentleman with a hat and sunglasses that was so rude! He came over and told us to please make sure all of our trash was off the table and piled on the plates. I didn’t understand why someone would say clean up after yourselves. We aren’t messy people and usually make sure the table is tidied up before we go so not to leave extra for the waitress. It’s rude to say and that. Seems like there are definitely a lot of regulars in there. Smelled like the grandma’s house i hated to go to….

While the breakfast options are fantastic, they also make a fantastic burger– quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. I always stop here when I’m in the area. I recommend ordering the bacon cheeseburger with a runny fried egg on top. Bring your own hot sauce. They don’t have hot sauce, but the food and service far outweigh that small inconvenience!

We waited at the door for breakfast for 10 full minutes being completely ignored with two empty uncleared tables. A waitress walked by us multiple times like we weren’t even there. I finally asked if we could seat ourselves and I got a rude, “You need to wait til I clean it”. Only giving 3 stars because the food was decent, but the service has a lot to be desired. Definitely not a friendly experience. Bummed because we were really looking forward to visiting this cute mom n pop establishment.
