We are a small, family owned/operated BBQ restaurant. We have a handcrafted, well seasoned, smoker that smokes our Ribs to perfection. We are Daddy’s House of Ribs! We also offer chicken quarters, brisket, tri tip, beef ribs and links. Our pulled pork sandwich is great for lunch! Pair any of our delicious meats with homemade mac n cheese, green beans, baked beans, cole slaw or potato salad. We offer collard greens on occasion as well!

On the road, and doing a little bit of a long distance hustle, had to turn off at Lodi for a route that was unfamiliar. A friend recommended daddy‘s House of ribs. I was thrilled to find it, because my map function wasn’t working properly. Once I ordered, I was hopeful. When the food arrived, Hope became elation. Fresh, crunchy coleslaw. Potato salad at once both savory and sweet. Then the ribs. This is a to go order operation, so when the clamshell opened and my nostrils huffed a puff of steamy, smoky ‘cue, I just about lost it. Amazing. Barbecue sauce has just a right twinge of zip. The corn bread teasing me on as I work through the tender, well-rubbed meat. Amazing place. Well done, Daddys! And, I love the playlist.

Best BBQ we’ve ever had. Stumbled upon this place as we were driving to Kirkwood. Ordered family meal #1, which included a whole rack of ribs, cornbread and 2 sides. Baked beans and potato salad was the bomb. Ribs were so tender and juicy felt like we even ate the bones! The bbq sauce had a great flavor and a nice chili kick to it. Order another 3 meat combo to go. We live 3 hrs away but trying to. Find a way to get back here more often! 5 stars and oh, the service was impeccable. Fast and polite with a southern smile!

This place was highly recommended when you’re in Lockeford. I picked the tri tip and my friend tried the ribs. Both so tender and delicious. The side dishes I got (coleslaw and macaroni salad) were also good. Stop by here if you’re in the area.

I have not found a better brisket anywhere!! Tender and delicious. BBQ is very good -with a little heat. Ribs fell off the bone. BBQ beans very tasty. Excellent~ Al and Brenda are wonderful people.

First, when I called to place my order they were out of a lot of items, but my family did order a good variety of what they did have. Green beans, baked beans and chicken were the only good items that we ordered. Brisket: No flavor, Very dry and tough. Ribs: tough and on the dry side. Links: weird tasting…..cornbread not good…… most of what we got was very disappointing and not worth the money. The lady who place my order was very kind and sweet. We went around 4:30, I will try again maybe a little earlier in the day, but that shouldn’t determine the quality of the food.

I’ll start with the good & they’re Mac n cheese is delicious! Loved the creamy texture & the just right burnt cheese-top layer. Cornbread was okay (cornbits in it) & a little too crumbly.
