Great food. Outstanding service. Two people, top end of the menu was $25. Priced much lower than the quality you get. Everything, EVERYTHING was fresh, correct temperatures, big portions, very friendly staff. I’ll be back. Best “greasy spoon” ” mom and pop” or “small town diner” type cafe Ive been to in literally decades. This is what a restaurant used to be.

It is a small town Mom and Pop dinner. Really doesn’t leave much to imagination. My bf is in the Reserves is stations at the Amory near by and they love to take the Higher Ups to eat there when the visit for inspection. My experience has never been bad but the food is the same quality you can easily cook at home.

Love the place, Middletowns best kept secret. The food is AWESOME, Price is right, and the staff is really there for the customers. You don’t find that at the Big Name Restaurant’s. I’ve always said Hot Cooking, Great Service, Right Price is a win, win, win!!!! Got to check it out.

Place needs a good scrubbing! It’s just not very clean. I had ordered off the menu. They did not have what I ordered. They brought me something “similar” without asking if I wanted something else. I sent it back. I used to be a frequent visitor, however this place has really went down hill the past couple of years.

Very cozy and homely atmosphere, the staff is pretty friendly. The food I had was appetizer: wings with Dad’s spicy. Good sized wings for the price, for their hottest sauce it wasn’t as hot which is forgiving (since I’m a spice head); entrée: Philly cheese steak: now this was a challenge because I’m from the east coast and quite frankly it was delicious. Not too greasy, not bland, but the lettuce and tomato was a first for me. Dessert can vary, so be ready for something different. I had a lemon angel food cake (I believe). Overall a pretty nice experience and definitely will be coming by again.

This place has gone down hill *FAST* not very clean. service was slow, poor and unwelcoming! Waitress was behind counter talking to a older man about her marijuana and her preferences! Not a ideal conversation for public places, family restaurant or children! GHETTO! food was bland but ok. Large proportions for the money.

Have been there before. Was not impressed. Now with a new owner everything has changed. It is renovated, food is delicious and service is great! Keep up good job!

NASTY and DISGUSTING!! NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! This place is infested with ROACHES!!! Served our food and reach for salt and not one but 3 roaches are crawling on our table. I jump up brushing myself off and grabbed my purse slinging it around to make sure there were no roaches. We dropped our folks and told server no way in hell we were eating that food. DON’T EAT THERE!!!

There’s nothing like hanging with the locals, and this place allows that! Prepare yourself, by intentionally sitting a spell; service is fast, food portions are generous, as us the care that goes into every bite. Eavesdrop on conversations but be prepared to answer for yourself; people care here, and anything you want or need gets addressed asap. I personally love breakfast best – NOBODY does eggs better – and the low drama decor is soothing, not distracting. Make sure you ask about specials and grab a cup of something before you leave.

The breakfast is great and portions more than anyone needs in one meal. The service was fast and friendly. I strongly suggest this establishment. They have facilities to accommodate a very large group if one has a need like birthday party.
