Dogwood feels like it’s working to get back on its feet. The staff is friendly and attentive, but everything else is pretty average. If this place is on your way or you live right next door, it’s a fine choice for a quick bite.

I’m not certain if the name of the establishment is Luci and Ethel’s anymore. The menu said “Dagwood’s”. I ordered a burger and fries and it was brought out to me presented beautifully. (On the picture I did the ketchup and mustard like that ) Decent price for a meal with a drink, about $9. Would return, probably to try their breakfast. On a side note, although the Leland Hotel appears to be going through remodeling, it is a timeless piece of beauty and history!!

Came here with a group of 12 the other day and the staff were very accommodating and friendly! They were willing to push tables together to fit our group. The setting is small and quaint with a good selection of breakfast and lunch options. It was a terrific deal for the food we got. Both the waitress and cook interacted with us and were both amazing and super friendly! I would totally recommend!

Ok soooo….. The same horror movie was on as the last persons review LOUD and hard to ignore while trying to eat breakfast. The food was horrible and tasteless. The cheap plastic silverware folded and melted looked like it was throwing up gang signs. The waitress made you feel just like home (if you have a mother that takes no mess and tells it like it is!) Dag!!!! Wood. Disappointing experience.

Soul food the movie was running on a TV. The hostess Crystal was pleasant and the cook Flo made me a tasty Western Omelette. Coffee was fresh. Good place to grab a quick bite if you have to wait near the Patrick McNamara federal building and you are feeling hungry.
