The food is ok, ice cream is good, not usually what I ordered but it’s ice cream. The service is hit or miss. One time I can go and they’re very friendly next time I get someone that’s kind of rude or just won’t speak at all. Today I went, ordered a new royals Oreo cookie blizzard. The guy said it was $4.76 pull around. When I got to the window, he didn’t even speak. I handed him the money he went back, grabbed the blizzard, turned it upside down, handed it to me without a word and walked away. After leaving and getting to my new fudge filled blizzard, there was hardly any cookie in it, it even looked like plain vanilla ice cream. I stirred it some and did find some cookie but no fudge. I ate most of the blizzard thinking they just made me a regular Oreo blizzard. But as I reached the bottom, I had 3 bites with fudge. Needless to say, I was disappointed again. This isn’t the first time their advertising is way better than the actual product. I hate to say anything, but it gets old and disappointing. Today was just a topper with the customer service. Some of their employees are obviously not happy to be there or don’t like their job much.

Drove through Western Pa and stopped here for a bite to eat. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. I was recommended the all beef burgers and thoroughly enjoyed my fresh made meal. I was surprised to have such an excellent experience at a small town Dairy Queen so I wanted to share, I’ll definitly stop when I’m in that neck of the woods. Thanks DQ staff!!

We were there about 2 weeks ago and were told we could not use a coupon for buy one get one free unless it said that it was accepted at the Slippery Rock Dairy Queen? Hello your dairy queen, like you dont get reimbursed from Dairy Queen. The ice cream is outrageously priced and the customer service is poor. They wonder why they are closing for good and its up for sale. Slum owner looking to pocket every nickel and penny they can get. If you are ever down on the Southside in Pittsburgh then please check out Pages Ice Cream or The Scoop. You get a HUGE sundaes for the same price that taste a lot better. DQ is a RIP OFF.

I can only assume the owners are cheap as they have several posted signs reminding the customer that bathrooms aren’t mandatory according to Pennsylvania state law. Message received, we won’t come back. By the way, an awful, disgusting porta potty may not be illegal, but it does not make a reasonable substitution. Come on.

Ummm says it’s open until 10 but we stopped at 9:10 and it was closed. We drove 12 minutes to get there and were very excited for ice cream. Imagine our disappointment. Update hours please.

Loved this Dairy Queen! Sadly, it is closing for good unless someone buys the business. We’ll miss it and the great people who worked there.

Icecream is great, but service is slow, the high school kids are on their phones and at times, rude. Food and icecream here are very expensive and there is no restroom.
