Stopped by for a quick bite to eat before heading back to the twin cities. Not as busy as I had expected so we went straight to the counter, ordered. Very courteous and helpful employees, made it smooth and quick. Washed in the restrom and down, they brought out our orders within minuts.

This is a great DQ location. It has a huge dining room that was very clean and kept up when we were there. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating, and despite being very busy they were helpful and friendly. The food was good and delivered right to our tables, they even honored some custom requests on some of the ice cream orders. I’ve been to a lot of DQs but this one definitely stands out as one of the best.

The staff are friendly. The drive thru can sometimes take a long time so I usually go inside if I can and will drive past if there are 4 cars or more in the drive through. The inside was clean. I was able to get my order quickly.

They mixed up my order which I didn’t realize at all. The shift manager blamed me after she came out and asked me if it was my order. It looked like it was. I was there with a friend and her kids and I thought some of their order was on my tray cause we ordered one after the other. This person blamed me for the mix up. The stuff looked like how are stuff from our DQ comes out. She never said a number, their was an older couple their that said she didn’t say a number. She was very rude and blamed me for the mess up. It wasn’t my fault that it looked right to me. She then came out with my order and I got really confused and said it was my order. Then she had to blame me for the reason why it took so long for the other family to get their order and then came back by to lecture me about paying attention to the number she called. I will never be going back and I suggest you never go their. They can’t handle being busy. My friend had ordered 3 different meals all chicken strips meals and her meal was completely missed and then after she had to ask for her kids food. They just messed up big time. Just avoid this DQ at all costs. Customers are not right there.

This is hands down the best Dairy Queen in the entire state, I dare you to name a better!! Food is always cooked fresh, put together respectfully, store is clean and the staff are tremendous. I’ve been eating here for years now, I have a cabin to the north and pass through town every time we head north, without fail we stop here sometimes going north AND south!! Keep up the great service!!

Unsure how to feel about my experience in Dairy Queen. As I entered there appeared to be banter between the employees since a drive through customer asked for a taco, to which she replied “this is a white people store, we sell white people food!” Which made me uncomfortable since I was noticeably darker than the others. In a last attempt to fit in with them, I shouted “down with Tim Walz!” Which they all promptly agreed with and accepted me as one of their own. As a new member of the dairy tribe, I was able to learn the ways of the store quickly. One of the tricks being while placing an order, if you blink at the cashier 3 times, they give you your meal free! The only downside is Amelia caught me stealing $1s from the register and reprimanded me accordingly(I deserved it). No complaints but still unsure where I stand in the tribe.

I came to this Dairy Queen after a long day of transporting a foster child from Duluth to Aitken, and was excited as a blizzard sounded delicious. I pulled in through the drive through to order, and began to place my order, when the person on the mic taking my order started yelling at me and saying that I was taking to long to order. I then asked for tobasco sauce for my fries, and was told by Employee Amelia that “this was a white restaurant, they didn’t have that”. I myself had a Hispanic teenager in the car who took offense to this rude remark. After receiving my food, I noticed the order was completely wrong. I then went inside and spoke to one of the employees about this, but they pretended I wasn’t even there. Appalled, I went into my car and left. (None of this ever happened, I am severely addicted to Opioids and tide pods)
