My only issue with this restaurant is some days they will have the Lobby open but most the time it is drive-thru with only motor vehicle only as well as the phone number is not accurate no one answers it! As a pregnant lady without a car who’s been craving a cherry dipped cone this is heartbreaking and extremely frustrating considering I can’t get a hold of anyone and the lobbies never open!

I only come to this Dairy Queen specifically for ice cream because they close the kitchen down way too soon. It’s been like that for a while. You guys NEEEEEED to hire more people. It shouldn’t take over 30-35 minutes to make an ice cream. I get it that you’re understaffed, but this isn’t the way to run a business. I ordered Puppy Chow blizzard through the drive thru and took one bite of it decided immediately it was not something I cared for. I drove right around and went into the store just to ask politely if I could exchange the whole medium Puppy Chow blizzard for something else equal to same cost. The manager rudely said no without any reason at all. I asked please and he said no sorry. I then offered to buy another blizzard and he without hesitation allowed me to without reconsidering and acknowledging how ridiculous his customer service skills were at this time. Been going there since the previous owner ran the business who was a one of a kind gem. I’ll never go back to this place of business. Recommendation to not stereotype people or location you serve in. He rudely said he has lots of problems around there and clumped my issue with all the other issues that comes along with that particular neighborhood and customers that come in. I visit that location once in a while and never have problems or requests. So sad to know the owner of this place has biases and lacks customer service skills. Just to pinpoint the exact location Kathryn and San Mateo location.

This Dairy Queen location is great! The food was very good and the service was nice! The only problems are that it took a long time for our food to come out, the portions are kind of small, it’s in a sketchy neighborhood, and it’s drive-thru only for some reason, but it’s good other than those minor issues and we’ll eat at this location again the next time we’re in the area. 🙂
