After an incorrect order, DQ promised to ‘make things right’. They certainly made up for what went wrong. Much to my delight, I was given a complimentary ice cream cake, personally decorated by the very talented and extremely kind Evelyn. the ladies behind the counter seemed unhappy and even annoyed that my mom & i came in. they were on the phone and drinking a milkshake near the soda machine while we were waiting on the cake we ordered two-three days in advance. not sure what happened but it looked like it got melted a little and refrozen.

This dairy queen is the most disgusting place I have ever eaten out at and it should be shut down by the health department. The french fries were over two weeks old and the lady working there was picking her nose as she was dishing out ice cream. If I could give them a negative number, I would please don’t eat there you will be very sick. We didn’t even give the hamburger to our dog.

So my friend and I stopped in the store and were promptly greeted and we’re told that they would be with us as soon as they could. Shortly after another young lady walked in the store. A girl from back in the grill came out with a headset on and asked the young lady what she wanted to have. They appear to know each other. When the young lady told her that we were first the employees said “I don’t care”. When confronted in a calm manner by my friend he said “that’s not very polite to say in front of customers”. That is when the young lady told us she didn’t care and if we didn’t like it we could go eat somewhere else. When asked for her name she declined to give it. When we asked the other two people who were working there who the manager was or the name of the owner we were told they would not give it to us. We have been coming to the store for over 12 years. Needless to say we left very disappointed and will not return.

I only go for the ice cream any more. The food is mediocre at best. Prices are high but what fast food isn’t. I would love to work 1 day here and make burgers that have people coming back for more. Corporate DQ has ruined the quality.

Max, Taylor, and David were all great hosts. Amazing customer service, makes me want to dine there again. The extra sundaes from the 7.00 deals were a great addition too. My only grope is the interior. Way too gray-scale for my liking. Makes me worry for the employees, very depressing color scheme.

We came through the the drive through today and one of the shift leaders informed us that “my boss said due to past incidents that you and your boyfriend aren’t allowed here anymore.” This “boss” she is referring to is Evelyn moss. She used to work at the Warrenton mini mart and chased us out of the store yelling and screaming trying to start a physical altercation. She has been trying to claim we’re banned from whatever place she’s been working when we’ve gone in and caused no issue, no confrontation. So I would really appreciate if the owner of this store would get back to me as soon as possible to speak about this incident. Because I’m not going to be told I’m banned from DQ just because someone has a grudge against me for no reason. As I’ve been a customer to Warrenton and Astoria DQ for many years and have had no issue until Evelyn Moss began working there.

I get that the food industry is very short staffed right now. What I don’t understand is why the kitchen staff wasn’t wearing gloves when handling cooked/finished food. I watched them put together a burger with no gloves, place finished fries in the pass through with bare hands, and not wash between preparations. This feels like a massive violation of food safety rules and until this location improves their food handling, I will not be back.

Traveling and staying at a local campground and stopped here for after dinner ice cream for the grandkids. Pulled up in the drive-thru and just about everything the kids wanted… was “sorry, this was no available ” so rather than trying up the drive-thru, we parked and came inside…where more items were not available. After settling on something that was available, attempted to pay the $16 total with a $50 bill.. and they wouldn’t take it… had to use a credit card!
