I came to this location because I was really craving some chicken tenders, and I knew that Dairy Queen had them, and they also offered a discount to WCU students. We went inside to order, but we were not able the get the discount for some reason. The food was reasonably cheap though, so that’s not really something that ruined my experience. I got the chicken strips basket and subbed the side of fries for the cheese curds, which was a small upcharge. The chicken strips were amazing and exactly what I wanted, crispy and tender. The texas toast was interesting because the “butter” was similar to what movie theaters offer with the liquid butter you can put in your popcorn. The cheese curds were really good but they had an oily aftertaste. All in all, the food was good and hit the spot. The service was really good and the workers were super kind, also.

Worst experience imaginable on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Can’t rate the food because the person behind the counter was so rude and hateful that it was obvious she didn’t want to take our order. She kept rushing us and telling us to hurry up because she was either the only one working, or she was working the counter and the drive thru window, or only one other person showed up to work, or there were only 3 of them there. Her story kept changing but her attitude didn’t. We finally left because she was so rude and hateful. Even a guy in line behind us recommended that she needed to check her attitude and he hadn’t even tried to place his order!!! I have NEVER experienced anything like this. It was an awful experience.

Arrived at 9:30 (posted closing time is 10). We tried to use the door as this is attached to a gas station but doors were locked. Got into the drive thru line, waited until 9:47 to get to the ordering screen (2 cars infront of us). The man came on, apologized for the wait, thanked us for our patience, announced they were closed but would take our order anyways….only to tell us they would only do ice cream only. So in essence, they closed 30 mins early!

This is the worst experience at a dairy Queen we have ever had. The hot dog bun was crunchy stale. The cheese curds were grease balls. The rotisserie chicken bites tasted awful. Also it took at least 30 minutes to get our food after watching many other people go through the drive-thru and the counter. Do not go to this location if you want to be able to digest your food. We will absolutely not be revisiting this location.

I have to say, this place was great because we ordered 3 $7.00 meal of which included 3 chicken strips, fries, drink and a Hot Fudge Sunday. It came out to be $22.47. What I loved the most is they took a few extra minutes to make sure the order was properly placed.

Literally the worst DQ in the state of North Carolina. For nearly a year now, this location is “unable” to make chocolate soft serve but vanilla they have all day. And if you ask for chocolate syrup to be added to vanilla, the employees seem so incredibly bothered and tell you they don’t know how to ring that up. The employees are RUDE and act like customers are an inconvenience. This place is awful and I would be embarrassed if I owned this.

This place stole my money because it’s a franchise and they shut their store down at 5 on a weekday and can’t put a closed sign up. But they park their vehicles in the drive through and stand outside freight training cigarettes and complaining about how they have no help. I understand Covid sucks but put a sign in the door and stop taking peoples money. This picture was taken at 8am on a Saturday as them and the store manager of shell sits outside and smokes and eats up payroll. I imagine that’s why they can’t afford to stay open past six.

I usually don’t complain, but I just didn’t have a good experience. Ordered two lemon lime slushes: one wasn’t mixed fully and the other was a dirty cup that had some sort of specs mixed with it. Didn’t receive all of our food. The app doesn’t work and wouldn’t give me a refund so now I have to call my bank and corporate for a refund. I ended up paying nearly $50 for our meal tonight. Didn’t give us a number or anything and wouldn’t say when I’ll get a refund. The tenders we ordered was overfilled with bbq sauce and leaked out of the box. The only good part of this experience was the guy in the window was kind and kept apologizing.
